    I was asked to provide housing/food for exchange students for Feb4-March 2. I was offered $1715 per student for 28 days and I agreed to two students. Upon their arrival, I also agreed to provide transportation for $300. The agency has not paid me entirely for housing citing that their employee made an error when she offered me $1715 via email on Nov 15, 2023. I was never at any point told this until after the students left. The employee who made the error has paid some of the difference, but not all of it and has no intention of paying the rest. The agency has not paid me any of the transportation stipend saying that they need to collect it from their client before they can pay me. However, I have already performed the services and I do not have an agreement with the parents of the students. I have an agreement with the agency. All the terms of the cost were communicated to me via text message or email. I agreed to the original stipend for housing and the transportation stipend. The agency is also disputing that their students were with me for the 28 days. They are stimulating that the girls did not sleep at my house on the last day. However, they were in my home on the 28th day. They used my facilities. They ate in my house, and I provided them transportation to their departure point. Today today, I was told that the agency will not pay any of the transportation fee because they made an error in allowing me to provide transportation before they collected the money from their client. Again, this is an internal error that has nothing to do with me. So I had an agreement with the agency, I performed the services, They made an internal error, whereby they did not collect the funds from their clients and now they are saying they will not pay me. I have all documented emails or text messages plus a letter drafted.
