This company has gone so downhill it’s awful. From sending out incorrect orders, to no longer accepting returns, horrible customer service, and over selling, they are one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. They eagerly take your money and then have nothing to show for it for months IF ever.Review from Megan B

Spark’lbands.com is no longer what it used to be! They used to value their customers, they used to appreciate their customers- they would offer discounted prices on bands that were “perfectly imperfect” or discounted prices on returned bands that were “open box” and sometimes have great sales-not anymore. They claim they no longer have “PIP” bands because they no longer make mistakes when in reality they are sending the bands that they made mistakes on to the customers who purchased them at full price hoping they wouldn’t notice the mistakes- they no longer accept ANY returns on bands therefore cannot sell anymore “open box” bands. They RAISE the prices of the bands then mark them down and call it a “sale”. There is full proof of all of this on a Facebook group called “Sparkl Sisters”-this group is hated because they give their honest reviews of the company and show proof- if any customer is found participating in this group then they are banned from the company-I recently received an email from Spar’l accusing me of “bullying” their staff and or customers when in fact I have had NO interactions with anyone at all- I’m simply just a member of this particular group on Facebook and they do not like it. The email I received is slanderous and was told I was banned from their Social Media access along with ordering from their website for 30 days. I asked for proof of the allegations where I was “bullying” their staff or customers and all of my emails were ignored. I sent a total of 7 emails over a 2 week period and received no response. There is also no customer service phone number to ask questions. They think they can get away with all this because they are a “small business” but that is absolutely no excuse for treating their customers like complete trash! They used to give a 20% discount for their “VIP” customers (customers who have spent thousands) and that was taken away- they now get the same discount as all customers. I have been a customer of this company for well over a year. They have made many changes over the last few months that benefits no one but the company. They will change policies without putting them in writing and informing customers BEFORE new policies are implemented, sometimes at the whelm of the COO who decides to just call the customer up without warning and tell them off for no reason. VERY unprofessional in their approach to customer relations. They cater to influencers instead of their regular customer base, meaning influencers get any rare materials while regular customers are put on "waitlists" for years for the same materials. Then the CEO decided that there was never a "policy" for waitlists, that "former employees" created them as a means to sell bands and they refuse to honor the waitlist even after getting proof that a CURRENT employee had waitlists for certain materials. They charge high prices for "couture" products that are NOT the quality that you are paying for. When they mess up on a band, they tell you these are "handmade" and refuse to accept a return. Their prices have dramatically increased in the time I have been a customer while the quality of product and customer service have declined even more dramatically. Their jewelry line quality is horrible and you pay high prices for jewelry that is filled and not solid sterling silver/gold. The metal starts rubbing off after only a few months of wear. They have an extremely high employee turnover and it shows in the quality of workmanship and customer service. Staff is overworked and it takes days, or even weeks to get anyone in customer service to return an email or message. The company removed its customer service phone number from the website months ago, so there is no option to call when you need immediate help. All this and they changed their return policy to three days (but only on "limited edition" bands, everything else is completely nonreturnable) for a regular refund.Review from KAYLA K

I used to love Sparkl. I got so excited to order & get a beautiful band in the mail. All of that has changed. There’s been so many issues between the owners and employees with customers. The COO calls customers to give them a lecture. As she did me. They do not take constructive criticism well. They just say it’s bullying. Yet, they have bullied their customers. They threaten you with lawyers if you say anything they do not agree with. Bands are getting sent to the wrong states. These are NOT cheap bands. They have customers that have spent thousands and thousands of dollars whom they have treated like trash. 10/10 do NOT recommend.Review from Theresa S

Have been a customer with them for a few years now and everything has gone downhill. It’s taking months to get your band. They want payment upfront but won’t deliver the goods in a timely manner. And if you cancel your orders which can be hundreds to thousands of dollars, they will only give you a store credit. Horrible customer service with vague replies to your questions regarding your orders.Review from Em B

BUYER BEWARE! Spark*l Bands accepts orders for their bands with payment up front but it takes months to receive an order and as of late, it’s highly likely your order will NOT be correct. Quality control and customer service are non-existent!Review from Shanna B.

I have been a customer for over 9 months. I have seen many things change over these 9 months and not one change has been a beneficial change. The product that Spark*l delivers is mediocre at best. The consistency of the product is never the same and in my opinion, you do not get the high quality product you pay for. They want to consider these bands as couture products. They charge couture pricing, but most definitely do not deliver couture products. Please do not pay these high dollar prices for mediocre products. I was foolish and did for far too long. They have lost a band that is sent in for refurbishment. They have shipped me another customers order. They have shipped me a band that I was not happy with on more than one occasion and it's next to impossible to get them to correct the mistake. And the customer service is terrible. No one seems to know what they are doing, always gives inconsistent answers and has ZERO leadership. The owner of Spark*l needs help. In my opinion she needs to hire managers that are qualified and are strong leaders. The current management staff is unprofessional, and they do not set good examples of leadership. Chaos is what they have and it shows to their customers. I cannot continue to support a business that thrives on chaos, charges too much for couture pieces, and delivers a less than desirable product. Buyers beware. Do not waste your money!
