My ********************* has been fearful of strangers since I adopted her almost a year ago. Shes almost 2 and I noticed when I would take her for walks she would bark at anyone that would look or talk to her or walk near us. We started working with ***** a few months ago and I already notice a difference in Cleos confidence when we go outside. I cant walk her where theres a lot of people yet, but we eventually started walking around my apartment complex and now if she sees someone she looks at them but goes back to sniffing the ground and doing her own thing and hardly barks the way she used to. Theres still a lot of work to do but Ive seen huge improvements that make it worth it! It takes time because ***** doesnt just teach commands she gets to the root of the behavior and builds up from there. And once it starts to click and you notice progress it feels amazing! Just have to be patient and trust the process

***** and Inspire Canine Behavior Counseling are Training, made a huge difference in our dogs life, which ultimately impacted our whole family. We rescued our German Shepherd (age 2) who had spent her first years in a backyard. Shes had no socialization with other dogs or humans. The owners asked if we could take her. We had loved her from across the fence and said of course! However from day one, we realized that she was uncomfortable getting too close. She wouldnt let us touch her paws and kept us somewhat at a safe distance. I knew she needed socializing, and so I tried getting her out among other people. This did not go well. The more I tried to socialize her, the more uncomfortable she became. This is where ***** came into the picture. After only a couple of sessions, she helped us learn that we were trying to force our dog into a role she wasnt ready for. We were only making things worse. We learned how to consistently introduce our new dog to people who came to the house by starting her in the crate, then letting her come out when we were ready to introduce her. This worked much better than letting her greet guests at the door and bark at them. It was a gradual process, to be sure, but it worked! Today she loves it when people come over and she really is a people dog very affectionate. We are very pleased with the work ***** did with us. Behavior modification isnt a quick easy thing, but when its done properly and consistently, wonderful results can be achieved.

I would like to think I was an experienced dog person having had dogs in my life my whole life including family pets, being a veterinary technician and having the pleasure of sharing my life with them in my adulthood until I met ******. ****** was the cutest little Border Terrier at just 9wks old he became my boy and I was smitten. ****** was the 6th Border Terrier whom I had and I knew he was going to be a great dog because he came from the same breeder that had got my ***** from and he was my true heart dog that I tragically lost some time ago. ****** turned my world upside down in the way of dog training and I simply did not have a clue on how to "train" him. I did all thr normal things- sit/ lay down/ stay/ NO! But ****** would look at me as he was passing onto his next naughty thing shouting "later Ma" and I'm not kidding, he was a challenge. I did take him to private classes and helped a bit but now I know different. He was crazy in every sense of the word. After bringing home my female Border Terrier and ****** attacking her I know I needed a lot of help and so did ******. That's where ***** and Inspire Canine Behavior Counseling and Training came in. ***** has been an advocate for ****** from the start. ***** taught me how to help ****** navigate my world by understanding his needs. I would never have believed less is more if I hadn't seen it in action. Simply slowing my world down, stopping the constant demands sit/stay etc and showing ****** how to be calm has worked wonders. I never would have believed I could have both ****** and the puppy in the same room let alone play/ sleep and eat together. ***** is truly amazing and has become s true friend to both ******, me and now my puppy ***** who is becoming a wonderful, independent little dog.
