Made our initial purchases some 5 years ago & was immediately disappointed! They delivered a number of damaged large items, one with a smashed in panel. I told the delivery people I did not not want to accept it but they would not take it back. I made them notate on their paperwork all the damages. They assured me everything would be taken care of in a timely manner & to my satisfaction.And therein (in retrospect) began the lies & the beginning of our discovering how terrible & unethical this company was, from its owners on down. But, it took time, for we, like most other reasonable people, wanted to believe them, not immediately think they were liars just out to make a sale & thus, over time, as we pursued resolution, it became clear who we were dealing with.They never took "ownership" of the damaged merchandise delivered to us.....$1000s of dollars spent, I might add. And they never took ownership of the poor construction, of "their" branded furniture, blaming the "manufacturer", which, in fact, was BASSETT! So, after many attempts, all ultimately met with disinterest, failed promises, outright lies & ultimately culminating into the rude & aggressive behavior often noted in their yelp reviews, we gave up.After a number of years, having their store branded charge card, unused for many years, we received a letter indicating it would be closed for non use, if we didn't use it, so we decided, in order to avoid closure (& the subsequent "ding" to our FICO score that accompanies such card ******************** in overall credit available), to go into the store earlier this year, & see if they might have a few small, decorative items we might purchase, using the card, thus keeping it active.Well, we did go in. Found a couple of vastly overpriced pillows, went buy them & was told we had to spend MUCH MORE $ to use the card. Our cardholder agreement had no such provision. Last lie, card cancelled, FICO dropped. Bad people! Rude! Stay away!
