      This company has continued to harass me when I do not want or need their service. Today I received a letter from them, not even sealed and with incorrect information. I have asked them to stop contacting me in any way. This has been going on for quite a afew months and has now escalated to mail.

      Starting June 18, 2024, I have received over 10 phone calls and texts from "Freedom Debt Relief". I have not requested their services in any capacity and have asked for my information to be removed from their records. I continue to receive hourly calls from them, and when I mention I need to be removed from the records, they hang up. I am being harrassed. I don't have debt, nor do I need relief from it. I want to be left alone. They are spamming me.

      There are way too many hidden charges. When I started my relief I paid over *********************** if not all just went to the lawyers and bs charges. And they never contacted all of my creditors and the credit cards started writing my debt off and selling it to third parties and sent my credit report downward

      The copys of the charges are from the lawyers office that freedom debt relief set up. I believe that makes them responsible. And of course Im not in the program now. But I definitely was. And if they are not claiming responsibility that make them even worse for setting me up with lawyers that take advantage of people. So if I need to Ill file another claim about the **************** ******* & ASSOC., PLLC.

      I have been receiving phone calls from them non-stop! I block their number only for them to call again (sometimes in less than an hour) using a different number. I really wish I wouldn't have erased all their numbers because now I am curious if they use a different a different number every time they call. If they know if someone doesn't answer they probably aren't too interested, and the number will be blocked. So, to get around it they just generate a different number to use. Anyway, I really wish there was a way to get them to stop! Or to limit companies from making more than one call a day.

      I started using Federal Debt Relief over 5 years ago to pay off 6 debts, they paid of 5 and are now holding one and not negotiating or paying it off and show they won't until October of 2025, they have over $5000 of my monies and the bill is $4905. they wont let me stop my automatic deposits or close the account, I feel they are just continuing to take my money and not resolve the remainder of my debts. I fell this is a scam, promising to pay off your debts and do so with the little ones and then do nothing but collect your money and keep postponing the last one until they have collected funds upon funds. I lost my job and can't afford to keep paying them money. and now have to settle this **** myself and can't get my money from FDR or stop them from taking more money unless I close my bank account. What a hassle this has been and will continue to be.

      I have been dealing with FDR and their unprofessionalism since 2019. I put in a lump sum payment to be done with the program in March. It is now June and they still have not refunded me my remaining balance in my dedicated account. They still continue to charge me monthly service fee even though I have finished with the program. They keep taking money to put in my dedicated account with no creditor to pay. Its ridiculous I work hard for my money and they will not close my account.

Review of the account and phone recordings show ******************** spoke with a loan consultant on July 18, 2023, and was provided the loan terms, in detail, including the payment amount and interest rate.  ******************** did advise that the payment was affordable and agreed to the loan by signing the loan contract.  An Achieve representative has attempted to contact ******************** to address her concerns regarding the transition to Achieve Acceleration, but no response has been received by ********************.  We encourage ******************** to reach out to Achieve member services with any further questions.

After a review of ********'s account, we attempted to reach out to ******** to address her concerns directly. Freedom Debt Relief obtained a settlement for three of the four enrolled accounts, with two in an active settlement and one resolved, there is one more account to be negotiated at this time. On June 4, 2024, ******** sent an email inquiring if a debt was included in the program, Freedom Debt Relief responded to that inquiry confirming the debt in question was enrolled in her debt resolution program. We encouraged ******** to reach out to her direct point of contact to discuss her concerns.

      I have 3 debts that have been settled and I am making monthly payments on through FDR. I noticed on my credit report the company reporting these 3 debts is different than what FDR has stated on my FDR settled account. Plus the information bring reported is incorrect. I called FDR to check what company they actually settled my debt with. It wasn't the company reporting my debts that are in collection on my credit report. I have not received any paperwork letting me know my settled debts have been transferred to a different company. The representative at FDR told me he couldn't give me any legal advice and that the creditor doesn't have to update my debt on my credit report until it's paid off. I don't know if the representative from FDR could have helped me? On the 3 debts they settled I paid over $1700 for FDR to settle $8000 of debt and they can't even pretend to want to help me. What do their fees cover? I do know they take their fees first then they pay your debts that are settled. If I would have known more about debt settlement I would have never agreed to obtaining FDR to settle my debts. The fees they charge are so outrages especially for a person who is in debt who is seeking relief. But still wants to be responsible. Plus , FDR waits to negotiate your debt until your account is ready for collections or charged off or your creditor is ready to *** you. It's all bad. Now my debts are listed as charge offs and these same debts are listed as in collections as well. It's sad that FDR couldn't give me anything to help me with my concerns. They could have at least suggested things that I could do to correct items on my credit report.Even if they aren't suppose to advice clients on concerns with credit report, they could act like they care and try to help with anything else that a client my need. Clients should get something for all the fees they charge

I received one more call after filing the complaint, but have received no more for approx 2 days now. I recieve way too many phishing calls these days, but this one seemed to come from a legit company that I, in no way , shape or form initiated contact with. Thank you.
