      On Jan 7 2021 I hired *********************** to replace my wall mount heaters with new ones. I gave him a deposit of $400.00 (check # ****) so that he can purchase the heaters. I also gave him my house key with the fob to enter our building. I trusted ***** since our HOA had recommended him and he was the main contractor for our building. Earlier in the year I asked ***** several times to schedule the installation of the heaters however he kept saying that he was busy with other projects. Its been 10 months now and he never delivered the heaters or did the installation. Because he has been extremely unresponsive, I asked him to return my money, house key and fob so that I can hire another contractor. He has made numerous promises to return my money however he never follows through. I am frustrated with all of the promises he has made that I finally told him that if he does not return my money by Saturday, Nov 20th I would contact the BBB. He said he would which he never did. Attached is a copy of the check that he cashed. I have a string of texts that I can send you where he claims he will return my money. I am requesting that the BBB help me get my deposit back and my house key. His voicemail is full so you cant leave a message. The only way I have communicated with him is via text. FYI ***** is no longer employed by our HOA. Attached is a copy of the check. A copy of the text dated 11/15/21 8:33 am stating that he would return my money in 48 hours. Since he never returned my money I gave him a deadline of Saturday Nov 20. The second text is from ***** saying that he would take care of it which he never did. Keep in mind ***** could have easily just mailed me a check and my house key.

      On Monday November 22, I created complaint # ********.  On Wednesday Nov 24 the business owner returned my full deposit to my satisfaction.  Therefore, I would like to cancel the complaint.  The problem has been resolved.  Can you please reply to this email confirming that the complaint has been closed?
