Date of Transaction: 10/24/2022 Product Purchased: Soy Milk - with expiration date 11/3/22 Price Paid: $3.99 Issue/ Complaint: Purchased the soy milk on the 24th and opened it on 10/25 only to found out that the soy milk has been bad - a puree-like texture, which it shouldn't. I had a sip, until I realized it is likely bad. I brought the product back to the market on 10/25 night as soon as I found out the product is not good. Spoke to a supervisor that night and he told me that he's willing to exchange. I said I would not trust the same brand so I will get another product, which wa $0.90 more retail price. The supervisor argued that he will have to charge me the variance even though I had purchased the bad product from them and risked my health doing so. If you simply pull up reviews on Yelp for Marina Market, you will find that there are hundreds of reviews complaining that the market has a tendency to source bad quality groceries and expired products. It is also likely that they re-label products that are expired and keep them on shelf. Management clearly does not think of this as bad practice and they somehow continues to be in business. Groceries are something household can't avoid from purchasing and we would love to support stores in our community. However, with the quality and the attitude they run their business and being irresponsible of the products they sell, I would think BBB should investigate them thoroughly.Initial Complaint

I bought live crabs in this supermarket on October 25th. Because the time I arrived was only 15 minutes before the supermarket closed, the salesperson was very upset, so I got a dead crab from the aquarium. , I drove to this supermarket 20 miles from home, just want to buy crabs, but the supermarket treats customers like this. I called the supermarket, and the supermarket doesnt care, but the attitude is very bad
