I purchased a used car from Infiniti late last year and they have still not transferred the ownership to me. They say they did not obtain the necessary paperwork when they purchased the car from the previous owner. I have called them dozens of times, gone in to talk with the sales managers dozens of times and they ************** to get it resolved asap. Still have made absolutely zero progress. The car was ticketed by police for expired registration already and we have no recourse because after visiting the *** they said they also are unable to do anything unless the dealership files the correct paperwork. Please help! I cannot imagine this is legally permissible.Initial Complaint

I purchased a 2014 Rav 4 from Infiniti of Marin 8/5/2021. A time of purchase we purchased an extended car warranty for $2,998. I was not given paperwork. When I was looking for warranty information in Dec. 2021 to see what repairs were covered, I realized I did not have warranty information. A name, phone number or any contact information other than my **** of sale.I attempted to call Infiniti of Marin multiple times (10 separate days, multiple times a day). Either no one answered the phone, no one returned messages or I was told someone would call me back and no one ever did). Finally on 2/3/2022, I spoke with sales manager, ********** who said he would send warranty info. On 2/7/22, I called back as I had not received paperwork. He emailed it. When I reviewed paperwork, it was dated 1/24/22 and price on contract $1948.I called back and was told by ********* that warranty never submitted at time of purchase and he had to call company to purchase new policy and back date to 8/5/21. He was not able to explain difference of my purchase of $2998 vs price on contract $1948. He said he would call back the next day I did not receive a call back. I called 2/11 and left a verbal message. No return call. I tried calling 2/15, no one answers phone
