Charged me for something I didnt buy. Ive emailed their support 4 times and they still continue to ignore me.Business response

I purchased a Byte vending machine (Smart Fridge) in August 2021. A Byte salesperson by the name of *********************** called me to tell me about a promotion they had on machines. I asked about the cost of the machine and the commitment involved. **** explained that the machines were billed month to month. I even asked about how machines are placed in locations in order to make sales. I was told, "we have programs to help place machines in locations, if needed." I fell into financial difficulty, during Covid, with the monthly payments and reached out to Byte finance. I was told by **** in finance that if I broke my three year contract with Byte that my full bill would become due. I explained that I was never informed of a 3 year contract and I had no knowledge of it. I also asked Byte if they could freeze my outstanding balance while I worked to pay it off and find a location for my machine. Byte promptly sent me another invoice on Aug 8, 2022, and when I reached out to them about it, I was told, "if you cancel with us, your outstanding balance is still due and you will owe the remainder of your 3 year contract." Byte has employed deceptive sales tactics and misleading information when I have tried to resolve this. They only seemed concerned with generating a new bill for me, instead of assisting me in resolving my current balance. I never agreed to a 3 year contract and if *********************** (Byte sales) would have made this clear, I would have declined purchasing a Byte vending machine.
