I shouldve took a picture with my phone, but it did say at first with my Social Security check that it was accepted as a electronic check on the mobile app and then I found out that it ended up the input on hold. First of all the system never shut of sad That the money is available and then the information change. Secondly, I tried to speak with both the banker and the supervisorp about the situation, and neither of them were able to help me and I mentioned to them I need it by a certain time and if they can accommodate me by me doing overdraft of the amount for my disabled transportation in order for me to go to my doctors appointment. The manager or supervisor no and that she wishes that there would be something that she could do. I felt that I was misled by the system to the point now Im unsure that I can go to my doctors appointment today because of the situation, and there is , a financial situation to which I should not have been charged by them but yet I was charged, and the supervisor would not even help me with that either.Business response

Orange County credit union has not offered any assistance to the time I needed on my account. I was on the verge of being closed over $24. This was during Covid relief I was treated poorly and nobody was willing to work with me considering I was with their bank for seven years. They automatically closed it and its on my Experian now. I am trying to get a loan for a home and this affects the process. Why was I not offered Covid relief funds or any type of timeframe when I really needed it? This is their words its already charged off theres nothing we can do there was Covid relief at the time but because you were no longer a member theres nothing we can do . I also was under the impression I was making a last credit card payment to close my account but that was to charge me off. I was not under the impression that they were going to charge me off for both of those things when it couldve been easily prevented with just working with me. Not one person has ever called me to try to make things work they just wanted their money.Business response

The bank closed my account due to 4 checks mobile deposits that occurred 5/9/22 & 5/10/22. My android phone was stolen and unfortunately I did not have a screen lock and my passwords were saved on the phone including my pin saved on the note app. I informed the bank that I did not made those deposit. The bank blocked my account and started an investigation. I also filed an ATM dispute claim for the deposits. My account was overdraft and I had pay the bank. I was told I would be able to open another account once the claim processwas completed. The dispute was denied and the bank told me that the reason was because it was a known merchant. I requested to open a new account but the bank refused stating that I failed to maintain my account secured. I had been banking with the orange county credit union for almost 22 years.Business response

Recently I applied for a position on 3/25/2022 and had a interview at one of OCCUs Branches. After following up and being directed to the HR ******, who by the way was so rude over the phone and thought it was professional to tell me that I, in her words falsified on my application on where I worked previously. I dont understand If I am very much qualified for the position yet ****** sounded like she was holding on to a grudge from a previous time in late 2021 when I applied and went through the whole background, yet at the time I could not take the position and rescinded the offer to me. She made it very clear that OCCU had no interest in me and proceeded to give me unsolicited advice and told me that next time to add every piece of work history on my application, yet previously was not an issue , however fast forward now it seems like its much of a problem to her. Maybe it is in my best interest to take my talent elsewhere. Very disappointed and dissatisfied that I sat through that vindictive conversation.Business response

Had a joint account with father who is now deceased. I also had a sole personal checking account. Father had fraudulent activity on account that was reported to Credit union. Social Security made a deposit into our joint account for him. I transferred funds from our joint account to my sole checking account so they funds were not stolen. I am awaiting a response from Social Security. Today, Credit Union accessed my personal account, and withdrew the funds without any notification or authorization. I told the rep why I had transferred the funds and I had no problem returning them to SS however there are circumstances she was not aware of. I asked for the exact disclosures to show me how she was able to do this without my authorization and she refused. She said didn't need to inform me or get my authorization. She started making accusations about me and why I made the transfer which was none of her business.Business response
