I set up a program to help with my school loans. With the ***** shutdown, there were no school loans being taken out. Now they are set to begin again next month so I called the number listed and it kept ringing (no voicemail or anything). I researched the company name online and learned it is apparently, fraudulent. I was not aware of that. I know I paid money to join the program and I believe it was around $700. I will be able to find that in my bank statements. Right now, I was just caught off guard to learn that I do not have a program that I am in that will consolidate and cover my school loans. I want to make sure that my data and info is protected as well. I gave this company everything that I have as you can see by the attachments.

Docinaid LLC sent me a final notice for a student loan consolidation and payment reduction production program on 6/21/2021. To be clear the letter is addressed to my maiden name when the student loan was taken out but in 2021 I had been married for almost two years. I signed the contract on 7/12/2021 believing it was real. I paid $333 amount for August, September, and October 2021 and was supposed to be sent a monthly bill to repay my loans it is now August 2022 and have not received any bill. I WANT MY MONEY RETURNED TO MY BANK ACCOUNT!!

I feel scammed and lied to, I've had several companies reach out to me for student loan forgiveness, Docinaid, **********************, and Mohela. Mohela is the only first party company of the 3 and don't charge rediculous $800 fees before even starting on helping you pay back your student loans. I've made 3 payments to ********************** of $199, and according to Docinaid I've made around $780 in payments towards their fees. I don't want to be paying into two separate companies. I went a year without hearing anything from Docinaid, and couldn't remember the company. I was called by ********************** was even told by a representative that Docinaid never renewed their contract after they figured out who I was with previously. I want a refund from both companies. I owe $19,756 in student debt, and the fact nearly $1500 was taken by two separate companies and not a dime went to my student loans is insulting. I want my money back from both companies and the contracts I hold with them terminated.

Date of transaction: September 28, 2021 Amount paid to business: ****** What the business committed to provide you: student loan consolidation and forgiveness Nature of dispute: Docinaid sent me multiple letters over a time period that looked official and I received a Final Notice for student loan consolidation and forgiveness, so I called them. I spent around 40 minutes on the phone with them. They asked me to confirm my FSA ID before doing anything. In these types of scams, they ask to confirm when really they didnt have it in the first place. I only found this out after extensively looking into it after the fact. I was required to sign the electronic document while I was on the phone with the representative, giving me no time to read through the extensive client service agreement. They only mentioned that it required payment at the very end of the conversation. When they contacted me again and I explained to them that this is fraudulent and I would be disputing the charge, they didnt deny it. This behavior is incredibly predatory and this company is taking advantage of the plight of this country. Other companies like this have had to reimburse the people theyve scammed for less money. Im currently in graduate school and already struggling to afford to live. I just want my money back.Account tracking number DOCAID8665623826

Docinaid LLC sent an unsolicited letter to me offering student loan consolidation services, dated 10/4/2021, recieved 10/5/2021, and marked Final Notice. In the envelope, they included a letter to an unrelated person in my community, which included her address and exactly how much she owes in student loans. I don't find this carelessness and violation of privacy acceptable.

The third party marketing company must have made a key stroke error, i will notify them of the error. Please notify the recipient to disregard the letter as it is illegal to open mail that is not addressed to them. Thank you.

DOCinAid claimed to consolidate my student loans and was part of a loan forgiveness program. I only discovered this was a scam because Nelnet flagged my credit with a ton of late payments that showed up when I was applying for a mortgage. My loans were supposed to be in deferment due to covid, but Nelnet said only half were actually consolidated and put into deferment, while the rest were not and I had late payments. Neither company have been any help and I have been going in circles trying to remedy the situation.I paid $1,000 for the help of docinaid last year. I have been trying to clear up my credit, but so far it is preventing me from buying a house and impacting my credit negatively. Neither Nelnet or Docinaid has been able to resolve the situation even though it was deemed fraudulent.
