      08/18/2024 Date of Transaction- complaint filed 08/19/2024 when business would not take care of the issue. I recently searched for a used ******* front-load washer on Marketplace since that's the model I had before. I often purchase from used appliance stores and found a washer for $400 that looked like mine. However, after contacting the seller, they informed me it had been sold and tried to upsell me a washer and dryer set that resembled mine. My dryer wasn't broken, but I decided to spend an extra $250 to get the matching set.From the start, communication with the seller was poor, which should have been a red flag, but I was heading out of town and didn't have time to search further. They didnt arrive at the agreed time, so I had to ask my cousin to wait for them. This was another warning sign, but again, I was in a hurry.When they finally delivered the washer and dryer, my cousins husband noticed they had rigged the dryer with an electric hookup, even though I have a gas setup. When I reached out to the seller, he was extremely rude, claiming that since I didnt pay a delivery fee, I had no right to complain. He acted as if not paying for delivery justified tampering with the appliance, leaving it in a state that wouldnt work in the first place. He then told me to stop messaging him because he was off that day.When I got home, I discovered that the gas line was sparking, which could have shocked me. The breaker tripped, and my husband pointed out that the open wires in the back of the dryer were unsafe and the washer was throwing a 4C error code and didnt work.The seller was completely dismissive, saying he does a lot of business and doesnt care if I leave a review or that he delivered appliances that dont work. Ive attached photos for reference. Please be cautious and avoid buying from them. I now have to file a claim against them.

      They are not upholding their contract re: 90 day warranty. They do not respond to calls and not proactive in getting the fridge they sold us fixed.

      1. Advertised Whirlpool refrigerator with built in door ice-maker. ****************** Upon delivery they damaged hall-way.3. After paying for refrigerator, the receipt stated not responsibility for property damage. They told me not to open doors of refrigerator until 24 hours has passed for compressor to be ready for activation.4. 24 hours later, opened the freezer side - there was no ice maker installed.5. Refrigerator side warm not cooling food resulting in spoilage.6. Ignored all calls and text messages regarding the two issues of ice maker and refrigerator not working which is documented on my phone.6. 30 days later they sent a technician to install ice maker - the tech stated he did not have ice maker, and replaced thermostat.7. The next day, the refrigerator was warm again - and still no ice maker.8. Been texting them, leaving messages, and pleading to either replace the refrigerator or fix it. They actually blocked my phone as resorted to using friend's phones to get through to them. They are very rude, and horrible customer service.9. Please read their ****** Maps reviews reflecting their horrible customer **********. Want my money back - do not trust their workmanship and feel they sell bad products - hence, do not want their product.11. My intent is to hire truck and return the refrigerator but fear they will ignore me upon arrival with their refrigerator.12. The main reason bought refrigerator was for the door icemaker as handi-capped, and unable to smash ice. My landlord installed water lines just for our refrigerator and we still do not have ice maker - worse of all, our food has perished due to refrigerator side not cooling groceries.13. Emotionally upset about this - even offered to buy ice maker online due to them stated on back order which it is not as they just simply did not order it from day one. We can't afford another refrigerator or afford to buy groceries as they will spoil if we continue using their refrigerator - Unfair indeed

      They sold me a broken fridge. ******* did not work and they delivered the wrong fridge. If you look at their Yelp you'll see that they do this to almost everyone. How they are still in business is beyond me. They should all be in jail for fraud.

      August 14, 2023 I began phone/text messaging with ***** after seeing an ad on *********** I was assisting my daughter in relocating into **************** area from ********* and needed appliances, importantly, a refrigerator. *****, ************ was very responsive and sent me pictures and answered questions. I sent a $100 deposit on a $1000 purchase via Zelle.Saturday August 19 moving vans arrived and the appliance delivery went smoothly. However, the refrigerator never started. I commented there was no hum sound or vibration from the condenser and the smell was Toxic. I was assured we had a 90 day warranty. Two days later, on Monday when they re-opened, I asked about an exchange. I was told *************** would arrive before 2:00. No contact was made. As I continued to try to reach a resolution, communication dried up. Living out of a cooler, I had to find an operating refrigerator and bought a new one. PAID to have this one removed! On Friday, August 25th, the non-operative refrigerator was removed. I have not received any communication from Appliance Palacios regarding repair/ exchange or resolution.

      Date of transaction: August 4, 2023 Amount: $691 ($550 plus $90 for delivery plus $51 tax) paid in cash (all they accept).Kitchen Aid fridge and freezer, used in working condition with 90 day replace or repair warranty.Upon delivery, drivers said not to unwrap or plug in fridge for 45 minutes, and left.Fridge never worked and was missing vegetable bin and glass shelf.After being given the runaround repeatedly, many calls went unreturned, no replacement or repair was ever granted. "*****" pretended not to have spoken to me before and each time asked what was wrong with the fridge. Promised to call back and have manager call back same day, which never happened.

      I purchased a used JennAir refrigerator from Appliance Palacios on April 8, 2023. They delivered and only accepted cash. When the delivery guy left I noticed the water and ice dispenser wer not working. They sent a repairman out and he said he needed to order a part and would have it the following week. Its been 3 weeks of calling and getting the run around. After tracking the company down by their address, I see this is how they do business. I guess I will have to try and get my money back through small claims court. DO NOT BUY FROM APPLIANCE PALACIOS *************************************** ************ / ************

      I bought a Whirlpool Gladiator freezer from this business on March 20, 2023. The freezer arrived missing parts and they assured us they would order the missing parts. The next day I checked on the freezer and it was no longer cooling. The freezer has a warranty on parts and labor. Over the next weeks I have been calling them for service theyll schedule service. I take time off of work to be available and they dont show-up. This happened on multiple times. Now I call they say someone will show-up the same day when I ask what time they yell at me and hang-up. The hanging up and still not showing up has occurred 3 times.
