5/10/22 I went to candeeland with my kids to have a nice day but instead it ended up being such a horrible experience. To start off the gentleman in the front pushed the ipad log in onto me when he could of just told me to back up. he just gave me the ipad and left. once i was done signing in he lets us through and my kids as excited as kids are they run off to the playground. we did not know we were suppose to buy socks. my kids already had socks. and on top of that they charge $3 per adult to enter? they did not have that sign up anywhere. so i went ahead and waited in the little hall where kids put their shoes and the manager came very rudely all up on my face spitting on me stating i needed to move inside but i did not want to pay for socks and for me to enter when i clearly was watching my kids from that area. they had seats there as well so i obviously sat down and he said i was blocking families that were entering, i was not. i was not blocking anywhere i was not in anybody's way. He then proceed to say he can refuse service to me so i told him where the sign was that said i was not allowed to sit in that area he said he did not have it so he kicked me out when i clearly payed for an hour. i basically still had that hour left. my kids left crying and disappointed. the staff was very rude for no reason whatsoever,. everything was unsanitized and in the website they state everything is sanitized. front door says mask required and the staff was no wearing masks nor enforcing it. the manager was not dressed with proper attire. he has black shirt and basketball shorts. i felt really discriminated because i was black. everybody else was fine there but not me? why? im sure they kicked me out from every going in again. what a shame my kids really loved it.
