      This is the worse rental company I have ever used by far. They only want to nickel and dime you. They don't care about you They are only out to make a dollar by s******* people over. Left me with out ac on 90+ degree days in ** at 2 different locations. They only are good at communication when they want money from you for mistakes that they have made. The repair people they send have never fixed the roof the fence the ac at 2 locations the houses are not move in ready. It's a joke. If I could Give them a negative star rating I would. I cannot wait to get out of the current lease that I'm in.

      ****** with Absolute Best Air just fixed our AC units and got us up and running with Absolute professionalism and in a timely manner. Everything works great and this company I highly recommend! Thank you ******!????

      All my problems started when I had to deal with the *********************** They will reach out to you then when you return their calls & emails, they go ghost. By the time they do respond, your account is in the red and it may be too late for you to fix it. If I ever got a response I was lucky. They seemed almost too eager to get people out than to keep them in. After moving out May 2nd, I received a request for payment via email. I responded right away to, again, no response. I sent a followup email May 22nd requesting a supervisor/manager return the call. It is July 7th and still no response. I intend on doing the right thing but how can I when they choose not to answer? NO ONE in the collections department is reachable. This is far from the only issue I've had with Tricon and no one has attempted to resolve the situation. Good luck to anyone else who chooses to rent from them.

      Never in all my years have we been treated with such contempt nor the zero **************** from a company Ive done business with. Not sure if it was because we rented instead of purchased, it just seemed that way. The cost was premium and the delivery atrocious. The arrogance of management was fully on display with the threatening letters and emails. And when we tried contacting someone, no response received. The fees and overcharges had no limit and we are so glad to be rid of them. Rental was doubled at the start and the end. Deposits stolen and even charged for the month after we moved out. A warning to any prospective clients, look elsewhere and being homeless would be a better option. Absolute trash for the management we were forced to deal with.

      I have been renting with Tricon since Nov 2018 and it's has been a horrible journey I will not be renewing this year. I have had two major leaks in my garage with damages to my personal items. Tricon has hired two different companies who have patched the ceiling and never truly fixed it. Everytime I complain and ask for reimbursement on items I am told to claim through renters insurance. I should not have to go through my insurance whe. TRICON failed to completely replace the roof. I asked to speak to the South Carolina manager and they transferred me to a young lady that had a screaming baby in the background who did not listen to anything I said and continued to have conversations with her child and ignore me. Not to mention I had to take two days off from work to handle the continued leak and to move my items from the caved area. There is rain in the Forcast again this week and I'm worried about the roof and my items. I have put in two emergency maintenance request in two days and no one has called me or come to the residence. I have had it with Tricon they do horrible maintenance, you can never speak to anyone but you all expect your rent by the 1st. I have sent pictures of my damages to Tricon and I have also contacted my lawyer and the Better Business Bureau.

      I am utterly devastated with Tricon Residential ... the RENEWAL rate to stay in my home for the 5th year went up by 12% !!!!! Usually it is only 5%-7% . They blind sided my husband and I . $245 added to our rent. We have made this house our home. We have kept consistent and regular maintenance done on this home ourselves to keep in it in wonderful condition. We feel completely disrespected and that Tricon Residential is trying to get back at us or make back their money from having to replace the ** UNIT last year. It was a horror story for just under 3 months! They even refused to put us in a hotel for longer than 2 weeks .. when we returned home the new ** Unit wasnt preforming properly & more than half the home was above 90 degrees during June-August in *******!! They thought a $495 credit was reasonable.. i paid $1300 in electronic to try to keep the areas that were working cool..the unit kept running & NEVER turned off. They knew the ** Unit was going out because it 2020 when we moved in the unit went out in August when we had a 3 MONTH OLD and had to FIGHT to get into hotel room. They were told it needed replace but it couldng happen due to COVID19 !?!?!? A 5% increase from 7% to 12% to renewal your lease is heartbreaking and gouging.

      I have been renting from Tricon since November 2023. No issues really until now. Im in ***** its 100 degrees outside. Our a/c is not working well I have been going back and forth for 2 months with them and they have been taking their time they dont care if its unbelievably hot in our home. The house is a new build our windows dont even open not even to install window vents. The heater turns on out of nowhere the a/c blows super low. It also turns off out of nowhere not even cooling. Imagine having the heater on in the 100 degree summer. Its horrible when I tell them to have compassion and imagine that they hang up on me. I wouldnt even be bothering anyone at all if my ac would just cool. They get angry because I have been calling to try to get this fixed. Also their vendors do not respect that I work from home and they get angry if they have to wait a couple of minutes while I wrap a call. At this point I dont think anyone will ever come and fix this. Be prepared to pay for any repairs out of pocket as this was your home because they definitely wont. They dont care if your heater is turning on in 100 degrees weather.

      Do not rent from Tricon! I don't even know where to begin. They have terrible customer service. It is nearly impossible to get a hold of someone who actually knows what they are talking about and you will certainly be put on hold for lengthy amounts of time while being transferred to different people. I was told numerous times when I was renting with Tricon that they could not answer my questions and that their ************** would call me back. I never received a call from their ************** once when I was renting with them and every time I called in, no matter what time of day, they were on lunch or too busy. They left me without AC in the middle of July in ******* for 3 days and it got to 100F in my house. They said they couldn't do anything about it. Additionally, if you don't give them a 60 day notice they will simply charge you for each day you are late and will be happy to have you move out when your lease ends, not even providing you an option to live there for the additional time that you are being charged for! They seized my entire security deposit (over $2,000) and sent me an additional bill for hundreds of dollars, immediately threatening to send me to collections if I didn't pay it. Stay away!
