On Saturday, May 25, 2024 I visited the M. Lovewell stationery shop which I have visited often with no incident. After making a large purchase, I asked to use the restroom before driving home. The clerk lied and told me there was no restroom. I asked why she was lying to me, as I have used the restroom many times in the past, and the door was literally three feet away. She then said she didn't "have a key" which was also a lie because they had an ink swap event just before I arrived, and that requires access to water. Furthermore, I clarified that I had a medical necessity due to having artificial hip implants, pelvis reconstruction, and spinal surgery due to hip defects, and she still denied me entry even though I was in distress and urgently had to go to the restroom. I requested a return of all the merchandise I had purchased. She returned all items except for one $30 fountain pen, claiming it could not be returned due to some policy. I want to pursue every possible penalty that can be levied against them to the fullest extent possible.
