I signed up for Lifeline with Stand-Up Wireless. I had not heard of them But was given a brochure when I met with *********** (I'm not sure if it's the *** or Lifeline). I filled out an application maybe about 4 months ago (November). I haven't received the phone yet! I have had service thru Lifeline before. And usually don't have this problem. I keep submitting paperwork to the other (middleman agency) but still nothing. I haven't been able to resolve this either. I'm sure I have emailed or called at least 1/2 dozen times. Here is the number that showed as confirmation/order # ********. The last name might be different-Initial Complaint

I was sold a wireless tablet but was misled and misinformed by the sales rep from STANDUP WIRELESS. They are pushing the tablets outside shopping centers using the Government ACP program to lure you into buying their products and service but do not inform you that buying their product will cancel any other existing account with ACP. They said I couldn't use two of their devices under ACP not two devices, after I had informed the sales rep that I use ACP with my internet provider. Accordingly my internet service disqualified me from ACP. I had to spend 6 hours over 2 days just to cancel their service.Initial Complaint

I Filled out a form months ago for stand up wireless for their unlimited data broadband tablet stating that yes i would like to transfer my lifeline service to them if needed. Several Months go by and nothing. One day out of nowhere a brand new tablet shows up. I call them to activate it and they seem to have no record of sending me a tablet. So i decided to add it to my parents ******** account as a tablet only line so that way i can have a big screen for videos on the go. Turns out I cant because its networked locked. I called in about that and they said the sim card which was in the box does not match up to an active line which i need for 6 months in order to unlock it but i cant do that because they don't have an active line for me. I ask can i sign the tablet up for service then. After providing my address I am told that they don't provide service to my Area.
