I placed an order with Valentino online on Nov 29, 2023 for 2 items as Christmas gift options for a family member. 1 item arrived timely but not what I was looking for. The 2nd item was delayed and lost at a shipping warehouse or weeks. The vendor offered no solution and rejected the idea to send a new one and have the original returned to sender, even though the item at this point would not even arrive in time. So, I placed a 2nd order on Dec 15, **************************************************************************** time for the trip to give for Christmas, as well as a pair of shoes for myself. Neither order arrived in time. Once I was back, I returned the bags that I was unable to get in time from both orders, neither having been taken out of the box due to their late arrival. The bag was accepted for 1 order, but the 2nd was rejected. I contacted the company again to go over all of this but they said there was nothing they could do because of a stain on the item and that it would be shipped back to me, forcing me to keep the item even though the item was returned never used and anything on the bag would have happened during their repossession of the item and I no longer needed it as I had to purchase another item for my gift due to the late arrivals. The team even has all the issues with shipping this item and it arriving too late in their system. Upon receiving the item, I wrote back to them again as there was no stain, merely a smudge that must have occurred when they were handling/unpackaging, and that I returned the item exactly as received since it arrived too late for me to gift. I sent back photos as well showing the item with no defects, the smudge easily wiped off. The team again said there was no option and was completely unhelpful, dismissive, and took no ownership of their issues. I had even brought it physically into a store where they said they don't understand why the return is being rejected but that they could not refund in store.
