      To whom it may concern,

The customer ***************** reached out to me some evening in June about repair on his motorcycle. He said his bike was sitting for some time and was not running. The following day, I picked up the bike from his residence in ********, **. I specifically mentioned to ***************** there is a diagnostic fee and that there is no guarantee on what day or time his bike will be complete and ready for pick up. After spending some time diagnosing his motorcycle, we found a number of issues on his bike, and I had told him what we found. *** gave us the bike with many missing bolts, hardware, missing fuses, dead battery, and also a broken key inside the ignition. I mentioned to *** these items were missing and they needed to be changed. He did come a few days later to drop off some parts he had for his bike that he wanted to install - one of the parts was a shift linkage which was not for the correct bike

Next, *** went on to order a new key and ignition switch for his bike. We installed the new ignition and key that he supplied then begun to try and start the bike. After getting the bike to start, the motorcycle would *** at a very high RPM, and we were trying to figure out the issue. Like any other mechanic shop, we were busy with many other bikes and customers. I mentioned to *** over and over again that I cannot promise when his bike would be ready but that we would try to get it done as soon possible. *** then went on to say that this motorcycle was his only source of transportation and that he needed it ASAP. He also said to just fix the important issues and to get the bike running. While the bike was at our shop, we noticed many leaks coming from the bike which we also disclosed to ***. He said to try and figure out where it is coming from. We traced the leak and addressed it to him. He then went on adding other things to check.

After spending more time on the bike, *** kept texting me and asking when the bike would be done. I mentioned to him that we are doing our best and would try to have it ready for him by the end of the bike. He again was persistent in getting it back on the road ASAP. We then went on to try and install the shifter that he supplied. Upon removing the old shifter, we tried installing the new shifter, but it was not a correct fitment. I mentioned it to ***, and he said he had ordered it for a 2009 model when his bike was a 2008 model. I told him it was the incorrect fitment and that it wasn't the right part. However, he insisted to just make it work and gave us the green light to install. In order to install the new shifter correctly, some modifications were needed which we did after *** gave us the approval.

I have many text messages with *** that prove me telling him it's the incorrect part and him insisting and approving of us installing and modifying the part to fit. I also have text messages and screenshots of me telling *** the many issues and telling him his bike isn't ready; the text messages clearly show *** not caring and just wanting to get his bike back. *** also went on to insult me and threaten me which I have screenshots of. We did our best to reason with *** and try to get his motorcycle running correctly but he was persistent in getting it back. I went on to deliver the motorcycle back to ***'s residence and delivered whatever extra parts he had for the bike the next day. I am happy to provide all text messages with *** that show him approving of the work to be done, *** accepting to get his bike back non running, *** admitting to ordering the incorrect parts, and his insults.

Unfortunately, we did what *** wanted and  the work he approved us to do and I have proof. We spent much more time working on his motorcycle then what we charged him. We did complete the jobs per his request. Again, I have proof of his messages and approvals.

I am rejecting this response because: he botched the pedal it was from a roadstar warrior tho it is interchangeable not everything is but there is a some stuff interchangeable between different models and years I can even list them as I look online for them also the bolts and nuts missing have nothing to do with what I initially hired him for he could of just told me I needed a charger, proper fuses and the throttle position sensor adjusted which can be done with a tachometer. He went and played games and lied refused to give me my property so I had to basically play ***** ***** and kiss a** from fear he would damage my motorcycle more he also could of been honest and got a locksmith which I can get for free from my AAA membership he fixed nothing, lost parts, caused a short from his lousy work, stripped my pedal lost the linkage which I spent a lot of time searching for and didnt even do the fuses, the seat wouldnt lock the steering doesnt lock there is a few things he did right like glueing the airbox, adjusting the clutch I think one more minor thing but somewhere around the line he switched on me Im guessing his ego was hurt he didnt know what he was doing and couldnt admit he couldnt fix or even know what to do as dirt bikes are mostly carbureted and my bike is fuel injected two different things I just want a adjustment from what I paid him which I kept my word and never played childish games with him I wasnt going to skip out on the bill so I hope he can show how big his cajones are and be honest *************** talk big but lets see money talks what you cant afford it are you struggling so that you have to scam people we both know what is right you just gotta stop talking out your behind

      Sincerely,

      *****************
