Wednesday March 19th - I received at quote from ****** Blue Book regarding the value of my car Thursday March 20th - I was contacted by **** (sales man from Nissan) regarding their interest in my car. I chatted with **** via text message about the possibility of selling my car. I told him I was interested in selling for somewhere close to $40k. He assured me we could get close to that and bring the vehicle in. I took the vehicle in for inspection. **** and I both agreed on a price of $38k. There we were a couple aftermarket products that needed to be removed, and we set an appointment for Tuesday March 25th to sell my vehicle.Tuesday March 25th - I arrive at the dealership with my car and the additional vehicle we were looking to sell. **** took my vehicle for inspection. He came back and told me my car is not passing smog and they would no longer be able to do the $38k due to potential repairs. I spoke with **** and asked how I could still sell the car for the price we had agreed on. He advised me to get the car to pass smog, bring it back and he will honor that $38k. I spent the next 2 hours at a local shop working on the vehicle. I contacted **** again and advised him the car is now passing smog and we could go through with the deal. **** told me we could no longer go through with the deal that day. because the inspection technicians were going to be leaving for the day. I asked him if he could please have them wait 10 minutes to finish inspecting my car, as I had already drove to the dealership (2 and a half hours). He began to ignore my messages. I then spoke to his manager Mac. who told me to return Thursday. Wednesday March 26th - **** called me and advised that my car is now only worth $35k. Thursday March 27th - I contacted his manager Mac, and tried to explain the situation. He became really defensive and asked me what I want to do. I told him I want to resolve this issue and he said he couldn't do that and asked me if I wanted him to hang ****.Initial Complaint

On august 31, my door to my 2012 nissan 370z failed this was the drivers side door. It seized and I couldnt open it. I took the car to Stevens creek nissan and I met with the very rude advisor ***, who yelled at me. Then I met with *******. He told me the actuator part failed and has to replace the door handle and actuator. I had to rent a car. After 5 days of the holiday, I get a call saying the window stopped working due to an electrical issue where the harness was short circuiting the window motor and switch. They then said that they will replace the part. I said fine go fix it. Then as I pick up the car, they said the part failed as the wires were shorting the power to the motor. I complained to the arrogant service director and he said oh they cant find the part and that its written in the paperwork that as they fix cars other issues could come. They were being so rude. I ended up spending **** on all this. I took the car back without a window working. They literally gave my car back without it working. The next day I took the car to ************ nissan. They fixed it, they said the window motor was taken out of place and unscrewed, and all they needed to do was plug the wire back in. Thats what they did, they plugged the wires in and out the motor back and everything functioned. So Stevens creek nissan was trying to cause more damage to my car to get more money out of me and fix it. I want to get all **** dollars back. This was horrible and my birthday was ruined.Initial Complaint

March 20, 2023 I went to Nissan to purchase my first new vehicle Nissan Sentra 2023. The advertised for the vehicle online was around $17.000 ***, the Sales Agent and everyone, promised that they would ******************* and anything that happen for 7 years, I signed the check for $30.000. *** called my insurance company Allstate, printed the papers and let me drive off. Later on, I discovered that I somehow have a $20.000 loan with Nissan Financial. When I had an accident which totaled my car on May 02 2023, I found out that they didn't help me with insurance and paperwork, Allstate denied my claim, ****** Creek Nissan also refused all responsibilities. *****, who worked for Infinity ****** Auto, said that he and his company would help with this case, if I purchased insurance from him. They charged me higher than market rate and didn't help either. Recently, I couldn't contact him, via phone or at office.Initial Complaint

on 04/01/2023 I went to Stevens Creek Nissan to purchase My Nissan Leaf 2021 , which I had leased from them and lease of ending. I was told that I need to get a mandatory Inspection Done for $1188.00. When enquired why do we need inspection since I already have the car and I am ready to bye it for the residual value. I was told it is required by law.Hence I purchased the Inspection, since my car happened to be in the shop for regular service.I returned to the dealership on 04/05/2023 to complete the purchase. This time asked the sales person, that I checked on line and this inspection is not required by Law. Then I was told it is required by Nissan Moters. I asked my wife to check on this information while I continued the purchase paperwork. My wife confirmed no such inspection is required by Nissan Moters. By this time all the paperwork was done. Then I asked to talk to the senior most person at the dealership. I did talk to Mr. **** and he tried to coverup the matter saying that this is just a miscommunication. the inspection is required by **( the Dealership). I insisted that this is a cause of knowingly miss representation of the facts in order to sell some services which I do not need. I told the gentleman that i am going to pursue the mater on line. I was told to go ahead. Here I am, to complain about a fraudulent sale of vehicle inspection which was not required. I paid $1188.00 for it.I demand the refund of full $1188 and a written apology.Initial Complaint

I took my car to the dealership for a routine oil change, which was a part of my maintenance package that I purchased at the time of purchasing the vehicle. After the oil change, I noticed the vehicles alignment was off and reported this to the general manager, *************** denied that there was any problem with the alignment. He insisted that if I would like the dealership to check the alignment, he would charge me $250 for an alignment check. I pointed out that my vehicle did not have an alignment issue prior to my vehicle being serviced for the oil change at this dealership and that the dealership caused the damage to the vehicle. After mentioning this, ************ agreed to waive the fee for the alignment check. After the dealership provided the alignment check I was provided with a report, the report stated there was no issue with the alignment. I was then threatened by the service department manager. ************ promised to refund the entire cost of the service maintenance package in the form of a check made out to me that would be mailed to my home address. I was told that I would be reached out to the following day, and there was no attempt to reach out. I made many attempts to contact the dealership and to speak with the general manager and received no response. I then took my vehicle to another shop, Big * Tires where they confirmed there was an issue with the vehicle alignment. Despite my many attempts to contact the dealership, there has been no refund for the service maintenance package.Initial Complaint

I brought my 2017 Nissan Rogue into Stevens Creek Nissan (**** Stevens Creek Blvd, ***********, ** *****) for a factory recall notice I received. When they returned my vehicle after the service, the rearview mirror was broken off. I showed the clerk, *******************************, who told me there was no way to prove they did that and insisted if I wanted it fixed, I would have to pay for it. They also mocked and disrespected me when I explained I didn't accept their assessment. They charged me for the full price of the part (I verified on their website), even though they told me they were selling it to me at their cost.Initial Complaint

We bought a 2018 Nissan Sentra as from Nissan on June 2, 2018. 6 weeks ago the collision warning sensor malfunctioned The warranty expired several months ago and the Nissan ****************** told ** that the price to fix it would be $2700. After an escalation to North American Nissan they offered to repair it for $900. This is for a part that one Nissan service representative said sometimes these electronic just fail , while another acknowledged that the physical placement of the sensor on the vehiclewas poor design on Nissans part.Initial Complaint

On Dec 10th, 2022, I was charged Diagnose fee $280 by Nissan Dealer at Steven Creek for my Nissan *********** vehicle because my car can't start. I paid for that and towed my car to other auto repair store without any specific diagnosis report. However, when my car was transported to the auto stop, the dealer called me that the technician took my vehicle parts apart and didn't put them back together, the terrible thing is without the part air flor sensor, other technician can't start with diagnosis/repair work. This is not professional under expensive diagnosis fee! The worse thing is the dealer here lied the customer like they said there is sever problem with my *** system and told me have to replace a new one. Otherwise, my car can't start again. However, other auto repair technician checked it and found that there is nothing wrong with the *** system. They just replaced new battery for restart my car. And also the other auto repair store found that my brake light can't turn off because they messed up the parts totally, which caused me additional diagnosis and unsafe concern. I attached the specific report below for reference.Initial Complaint
