I am writing to address concerns regarding the handling of my credit report during my recent attempt to purchase a vehicle from your dealership.1. I received three email notifications indicating that my credit report was pulled. Despite being informed that my credit was "solid," I was later told that my credit report was "lost" when I tried to finalize the purchase. This led to a repeated request for my credit report, which I declined.2. I am requesting the following actions be taken:Provide an explanation for the current status and location of my credit report.Remove the hard inquiry from my credit report, as your failure to manage it correctly is not my responsibility.Please address these concerns promptly.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Business response

The credit bureau was pulled thru the reporting agencies only. The credit application was submitted online thus there is consent for credit review it was not done so arbitrarily. Furthermore, the credit file is online in our system and not filled on a paper application so there is no question of it being "lost". It is intact and secure. Thank You.Customer response

I am formally rejecting this response for the following reasons:My credit information was submitted to your dealership twicefirst through your website and again through a link provided by your sales team. During my communications with your sales staff, I was informed over the phone that my credit report was lost and needed to be pulled again for resubmission. If my credit report was indeed stored electronically, I am requesting a copy of the report your dealership pulled.
The mishandling of my information and the lack of clear communication indicate significant issues in your process, which brings us to this point today.
If you are unable to provide a copy of the credit report that was pulled, I expect the hard inquiry to be removed from my credit report immediately.I look forward to your prompt attention to this matter.

For privacy dissemination reason we cannot directly provide you with the copy of the bureau, however you are entitled to request one from the credit agencies. Also as mentioned before the credit pull had been done so with consent and we do have secure electronic record of your bureau so there is no concern with it being misplaced.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and while I acknowledge their attempt at a resolution, it is glaringly clear that their business practices are grossly incompetent. The lack of professionalism and basic understanding of customer service displayed throughout this process has been appalling.It is shocking how a company can function with such ineptitude and disregard for proper business standards. While I reluctantly accept this resolution, I am deeply dissatisfied with how poorly this entire situation was handled from start to finish.
