I purchased two sets of dishes on October 24th 2021. They are a ***** brand dishes and I purchased them through Office Depot. The dishes were shipped and when I received them I opened them all up there was damaged items and they provided a phone number and an email address for warranty issues. I called up and they were going to send me replacements. I saw the email for The replacements that they were going to send and the first person I talked to had the quantities wrong so they ended up sending me to new complete sets. Upon receiving the two new sets all eight coffee mugs had crazing on the handles which is slight cracks in the glaze. And six out of eight dinner plates also had crazing. The first agent I spoke to told me that they are not safe to use because the glaze can trap bacteria and water and break if used in the microwave. I sent emails about the issue since I just want a complete two sets of dinnerware I wanted them just to send the dinner plates that I am lacking. I don't have use for more than eight of each I do not have the room to store them and also feel guilty throwing away unnecessary items. No one responded to my email about the warranty item shipped out I finally called and they told me that I have reached the maximum allowed number of pieces and I explained to them I am still short dinner plates and the whole reason I got rid of my old set is because I was short dinner plates. The lady said she would look into it and ship out just the dinner plates and I have not heard back and don't see anything on my account. I have sent them pictures of the damaged plates and cups and at this point don't even care about the coffee cups I would care more to get the dinner plates.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2021/12/07) */ At this time the issue has been addressed with the customer and should be resolved. The final replacement ******* by the customer was shipped off on XX-XX-XXXX with *** ******** ****************** delay occurred due to the need to quality check and inspect any additional requests due to the manufacturing issues already experienced by the customer. I have attached our initial and final *************** The customer never ********* any disappointment of *************** directly during any phone communication or by email. Consumer Response /* (2000, 10, 2021/12/07) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) I did receive four damage free dinner plates on December 6th 2021. I am in hopes with the extended warranty on these dishes that the manufacturer will honor their warranty if the glaze gets any more hairline fractures known as crazing. All of the mugs that were shipped multiple times have cracking on the glaze on the handle portion I have decided to not pursue that because it is exhausting and I'm not as concerned with sanitation issues on the mugs. The reason I did not initially voice how unsatisfied I was is because no one ever got back to me and I figured the issue was just going to be left alone and that's why I contacted the better Business bureau.
