I hired weddings and events made easy (WEME) on 4/12/22 for my wedding on 9/3/22 to do pre-event coordination, including vendor coordination, and provide multiple people on the day of my wedding to set-up and tear-down my wedding decorations. ***********, the owner, assigned me ********* as my coordinator on 4/13 and until 8/4, I had multiple issues of responsiveness with ********* and very minimal pre-event coordination. On 8/4 when were supposed to meet a vendor together is when we found out she was in the ER for COVID issues and had not disclosed it. When I emailed ******, she assigned me a new coordinator, *****, and told me *****, ******, and 1-2 other people would be working my wedding. The only person from WEME on the day of my wedding to set-up was ***** and he didn't, instead ordering my wedding party to do it, including the furniture moving that my caterers were supposed to do. Not only was this far from what I paid for, but he also messed up my entire wedding timeline to vendors resulting in a wedding day in major disappointments and losses by sending everyone a timeline the day before my wedding instead of at least a week before as our contract states. And since people with no idea what the decoration plans were supposed to be set-up my wedding, many important cultural elements were missing, further saddening me. I emailed ****** asking for a refund during my wedding getaway car ride so sad and upset. She threatened me with a defamation lawsuit, told me they had delivered what they said they would, and then attacked my personality saying they had testimonials from other vendors about how disrespectful I am. I have since reached out and have been told I never raised my voice or called anyone any names. I only raised questions about failed expectations. WEME did no successful pre-event coordination, did not set-up and tear down my wedding or coordinate with vendors correctly or in a timely manner. She's offered $500 and an NDA and I deserve more.Business response
