Angelus has a shoe cleaner advertised to clean suede. I bought their product to clean my brand new****************** and it damaged the suede. I brought it up to them after following their cleaning videos on YouTube, and they blamed it all on me even though I followed their instructional video. I'm not the only one whose shoes have been damaged by their product. If you go to ****** and search for the same product that I used and read the reviews, there are a ton of people that had the same result as I did with their suede shoes. I unfortunately found those reviews after the fact. They need to reimburse me for ruining my shoes and contradicting their own cleaning instructional videos.Business response

While we stand behind the product and its effectiveness when used as directed, we do recommend to test on an inconspicuous area for this exact reason as there are millions of different shoes with different fabrics, dyes, and more. We do not offer reimbursements for shoes that were damaged as a result of using our product, however we are here to help guide you through proper usage in the future. It is important to note that our instructional videos reflect one method of cleaning amongst many and should be taken as an example rather than exact instructions on how to clean any given shoe. The response from Angelus does not remedy the problem at hand which are my shoes that were damaged by using their product. They're now stating after the fact about different types of suede on shoes when the labeling on their product does not indicate that anywhere and only says "for use on suede". Not "call us to how to use product for different shoe materials". It is clear and concise that they're in the wrong here but are avoiding blame and liability. I need to be reimbursed in full for my shoes immediately that were damaged by correct use of their product.
