I purchased a brand new 2022 Jeep Compass on august 6th 2022 Eddie the salesman was great and friendly, I was driving a Dodge Charger at the time so I wanted a suv with better gas mileage! The compass is supposed to get approximately 337 miles for a full tank of gas, when it was filled the date of purchase I noticed it said 180 miles on the dash and I didn’t think anything of it! The tank ran out very quickly since then I have filled it up 3 times now and I’ve only put 410 miles on the vehicle, the jeep app says right now that I have just under a half a tank which is correct but that I should have 157 miles and the dash says I only have 80 miles left! I called a few times to the service department to see if they can take a look at the jeep to see if there is something wrong with it! First time I left a detailed message, I never got a call back. So I called again and spoke to Jennifer hoping they would get me In asap to find out what’s going on. She didn’t seem concerned at all and said they couldn’t get me in for over a week which to me is ridiculous I just bought this vehicle and I’m having to fill it up every week and I only drive it to drop off and pick up my daughter from school, I would think they could make some room to get the vehicle In to get this problem solved but she’s said there just way to busy! I’ve passed by several times and it doesn’t look to be to busy and all the service department people just stand around gossiping hardly getting any work done while there messing around on there phones ignoring customers and it’s not right!Business response

Customer has been into service department and the shop foreman reset the fuel mpg monitor....then road tested and system was reading correctly...The shop foreman then showed customer location of reset so going forward they can get a more accurate readingCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because: as I told lonna i had already done the whole reset MPG and drive the freeway thing and it didn’t change the miles or go to 30-35 MPG as you advertised to me when selling the vehicle I am still only getting MAYBE 15 mpg in city and if I’m lucky 20 on highway! And when I fill up the tank in the city it gives me 180 mile range, which according to lonna is correct on ALL THE NEW COMPASS’S, but that’s a lie! This is not Normal, when I fill up my tank regardless of where I’m filling it at I should be getting 337 mile range not 180-200 it’s insane! So when your service department (lonna) said “well I’m sorry I’ve had my guys working on this for 3 hours” I was SHOCKED your “service department” had my car for 3 days, so obviously they didn’t care enough to really figure this out!

I have taken my Dodge Ram 3500 to the dealership for a DEF system service. After it came back I was leaking antifreeze from my truck and I took it back to them and they say they didn’t do it. Usually when they service my vehicle they inform me about something that is wrong but they did not do this. That leaves me to believe that it was caused after they did the service.Business response

Service Manager Mi***** ****** spoke to Mr. Y**** and discussed concern. Mr. Y**** brought vehicle into the service dept and it was determined there was a heater hose leaking. M****** explained the repairs were unrelated to the EGR repair and offered to split the cost with Mr. Y**** which he was delighted with the offer. The vehicle was repaired and the customer picked up the vehicle satisfied.Customer response
