Had no hot water, called Arrow Plumbing. They pushed a re-light button and that is all they did. Feel I was taken advantage of since I live alone. $110.00 is extremely overpriced. I would never call this business again . A terrible way to do business. Have a heart! This company needs to be investigated, scam practices.Business response

Tell us why here...
We were called out about no hot water.
Tina was concerned about what the cost would be.
We stated we have a minimum service charge of $125 to perform an inspection to determine the issue, therefore she was made aware of the minimum service charge before arrival.
During the inspection, we determined that the water heater pilot was off.
We tested and relit the pilot light on the water heater. We confirmed normal operation and no further work was needed to be performed.
We explained the issue, and only charged $110 instead of the regular rate of $125.
Fortunately, it was as simple as relighting the pilot and nothing more, which is not always the case. As simple as it may have been, we send a skilled technician to customers home, with all the tools and materials needed to be equipped to perform a repair of different magnitudes.
To have a negative review for our service saddens me.
We clearly stated our minimum service charge over the phone, showed up on an agreed time, corrected the customers issue and reduced our service charge.
If this is deserving of a negative review, I do not know what else we need to do to get a good review.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 16781602, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.The business did not notify the customer how much the service fee was going to be. If they would have told her she wouldn’t have had them call the to come. She would like to receive a refund.
