The Opte wand worked fine until a little bit over a couple of months ago. I reached out to customer service by email and they responded at the beginning suggesting some troubleshooting tips, which I followed and they did not work. I reached back to them, sending them pictures and even a video proving them that the wand was not working and they have not reply ever since. I followed up a month later after the first email which was last week and I still have not hear from them. It hasn't been a year since I purchased it. They claim to have a "one year warranty" and since I am still within that frame, all what I want is for them to comply with what they advertised. I have proof of emails and everything in this statement.Business response

I have called and emailed the company numerous times. No one answers the customer service line and no one returns the emails. I am trying to cancel the automatic shipments of serum. I have been trying to do this for about six months now and no one is answering any of my inquiries. I just received another shipment and was charged for it.Initial Complaint

This machine does not work as advertised. The return policy does not support their recommended allowed time for results. They advertise one way but that is not how the product works. I feel I was scammed out of my money and I want a full refund. Based on false advertising. I contacted the company for a full refund and they said that I was past the allowed time. I have given this product 6 months and there is in no way it performed the way it promised. I want a full refund. I will return my machine, in good working order. It has 40% serum left. I deserve a full refund. This product was over-promised and under-delivered.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/10/20) */ Customer purchased 03/25/2021, under our 60 day return policy. She did reach out to us in May to let us know she was not sure how to use the product - we helped her and she agreed to an extend of the return window to June 15. After which she did not reach out to us again until 10/04/2021 asking for a refund. We are not able to accept a return for a full refund 6 months after a purchase is made. They state that you need to use the product for at least four months before you see results. The advertisement makes it sound like the results are instant. This company 100% should back up their ads. The ad shows the wand going over skin and covering age spots etc.The truth is it takes longer than 5 min. (they advertise) to apply this and also you must use 4+ times in one application for it to start working. If they think their product is worth the money they can return mine and resell it. I absolutely know that I was taken advantage of. If this company is legit then they need to realize their 60 day return policy is a joke. I feel a full refund is warranted. This product does not work as it advertises at all. The wand is in great condition and they 100% can resell it. I however do not accept being out $600 for a product that advertises false claims. I will escalate beyond BBB if not resolved here. I also recommend that the company rebrand their product with more realistic promises.
