Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my letter regarding our lease agreement we signed with ************** at Fashion Fair for ***********.We were the first to contact ***** on April 18th, 2023 regarding ***********, she said she loved the idea and that we were the FIRST to reach out regarding this.We came to an agreement of a one year lease for $600 a month. We signed and forwarded the proposal on April 24th, 2023 and never heard back.We patiently waited and I followed up with phone calls and emails with no response (I have screenshots and call records for these).We followed up again persistently and sent the lease proposal again on May 22nd and again with another email follow up on May 31st, no reply once again.I finally made a trip to the ************************* and saw signage for ******************************I reached out to ******************** On June 5th, letting her know of the scenario and never heard back from her either until I kept calling and calling her.She finally answered and she informed me they already signed another tenant for Center Court and that they dont need two locations.I was shocked. We reached out first, shared ***********, signed the lease proposal, purchased the unit and was ignored for 2 months only to be told they signed someone after we already signed our agreement first?******** said the upcoming tenant they signed still needs to purchase his unit and wait 60 days to enter into Fashion Fair.What fascinates me is how I had my unit paid for April 24th with my manufacture who already made MY machine and is ALREADY at the ********** docks waiting for delivery when the other tenant STILL needs to order his.How is any of this possible? The timelines are not matching and proves again that I was the FIRST tenant to propose the idea and signed the papers for.This is not fair. We please need support with this issue before we attempt to enter any legal mitigation process with Macerich regarding this.
