TODAY AS OF JAN 30TH 2023 I GOT AN ***** FROM THIS COMPANY HM BRADLEY THAT THEY MADE A DECISION TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT AFTER THIS ACCOUNT WAS JUST OPENED SUCCESSFULLY AND ALL I DID WAS A CASH APP MONEY TRANSFER TO MY ACCOUNT TO START THE DEPOSIT OFF THIS IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL BECAUSE THEY ARE HOLDING MY MONEY HOSTAGE FOR ********************************************************************************************************************************************************** MONEY BACK ***** (HMBradley)Jan 30, 2023, 3:06 PM PST Dear *******, HMBradley has made a decision to close your account. Consequently, HMBradley has restricted your deposit account and will be closing it within ten (10) days from the date of this letter. You will not be permitted to open another HMBradley account. If your HMBradley Account has pending transactions, is overdrawn, or is subject to legal process (i.e., garnishment, attachment, execution, levy, or similar order), we will further restrict your account until pending transactions are paid, processed, or returned. the cash reward screen says "1% Back on everything else", but actually not on everything else, they only pay cash reward on the category they selected, so this is a misleading to customers, and caused me to spend extra $137.20 to pay my tax with credit card without knowing there is no cash reward since tax payment is not in their category of cash reward, the "1% Back on everything else" is a misleading statement. They need to pay me at least 1% and change their mobile app to add a line to link to the categories that will earn cash rewards. So customers will not be mislead in the future.Initial Complaint

HM Bradley is a financial company that offers 3% savings interest rates if members meet certain requirements. I met all these requirements to qualify for the ** interest rate in the 1st quarter of 2022. However, on Dec 15, HM Bradley suddenly added a new requirement to apply for their credit card in order to qualify for the 3% interest rate starting Feb 1, 2022. Furthermore, we only had until Dec 31 to apply and get approved for the credit card. I was surprised by this new requirement and called HM Bradley. Prior to Dec 2021, I had been invited to apply for the HM Bradley credit card. However, the credit card application link no longer worked. I spoke with several HM Bradley representatives on the phone. We agreed that their systems were not working properly since it was not allowing me to apply for the credit card. I requested a call back from an HM Bradley supervisor, and two HM Bradley representatives promised that I would get a supervisor call back. However, I never received a call from an HM Bradley supervisor. In summary, even though HM Bradley added last-minute requirements, I was prepared to meet these requirements to maintain my ** savings interest rate through all of the 1st quarter of 2022. However, HM Bradley's computer systems made it impossible for me to meet the additional requirement of applying for the HM Bradley credit card. Therefore, I ask that HM Bradley extend the 3% savings interest rate on my account ************* to June 30, 2022. This is to account for my account unfairly losing the 3% interest rate on Feb 1, 2022. Once HM Bradley agrees to this, I will apply for the HM Bradley credit card.
