Racist company, no Fat or Black people are the rules. The occult following online is disgusting, and the I'm not surprised this store hasn't been sued for racial discrimination. The front door is a violation of the ********** fire hazard and store safety. Ordered pants in S/M online. They arrived and they were marked 'One Size'. Went to the store to return them and they said I could only exchange or mail back for refund. Reached out to company regarding size error and they insisted that I didn't read the description correctly. They sent me the product I ordered. I ordered a size S/M. You sent me a size 'One Size'. How did you send me the correct order?They want me to pay to send it back. It is their error! After much back and forth, I'm disputing the charge. Randomly got an unmarked box dropped off at my house today. Seriously, just a plain, taped up cardboard box with no shipping label??After mustering up the courage I opened it and found some apparel, and a bag of pins and stickers from this company?? I had never even heard of Brandy Melville before. Creeped me out so I threw it all away (too bad trash was picked up today).Review from Yvonne R

Had a very disturbing and discriminatory experience at the Broadway location, in Manhattan. Upon entering, the door guard alerted we had 10min til closing. I responded thank you, my god daughter is inside waiting for us. Manager Piper, (whom I l eventually asked for her credentials) proceeded to follow us around bumping into us and stepping in our way, repeatedly asked who we were with and where they were. I said how many times do I need to answer your question? I asked to please stop following us & getting in our way of passage, which was quite harassing. & menacing. She then began speaking Ill of us to a gathering of about 5-6 fellow employees which she gathered at the floor, they began mocking laughing at us. I said she was unprofessional and asked for her name. She loudly and rudely said to point out whom I was with repeatedly- I Explained she was on line paying now & my daughter went over to her side afraid. I answered that question on 4 occasions .... She became very exasperated and called for security pointed at me to remove me!! She seemed to be erratic and unbalanced- possibly medicated.? This is an unacceptable, deplorable way to treat anyone run a business. We are quite in shock and perplexed as to why and how any of this occurred. My daughter & god daughter are now afraid that this group of mean girls have targeted them in the vicinity, since they were threatening in their demeanor and said we better not ever attempt come into this shop l. We are of Hispanic decent and believe this could have been the purpose of the harassment sadly & unfortunately.Review from Lusine A

Location at Americana in Glendale, CA.
Was attacked by an employee Jordyn or Jordan for not having a mask. They did not provide a mask, claimed "We don't do that". Completely unnecessary behavior by this employee. Extremely sad to experience such anger towards a ********, very shocking.Review from Pina G

I have had horrible experiences with Brandy Melville. My most recent has been ordering online and having to return several items due to error on their part. One item had security tag still attached, I have had a few items doubled in error, another item was damaged and when I sent everything back I was told I was getting a credit because it was past the 30 day return policy. I have been in communication with a representative during this time and this is very unfair that I would not get my full credit back in my credit card. I will never shop with them again. This is regarding the Chicago location. The ******** ******* which consisted of what looked like high school students, were not only extremely rude, and does not know what they are doing and charges people incorrectly, then refuses to fix the issue.
I purchased 2 tops for my daughter, and right after the transaction, she wanted to exchange one of them for something that was a bit more expensive. They took my receipt, and kept it, then charged me SEPERATELY for the née too, and refused to refund or give me back my original receipt, so I had no proof of return! Then when I asked for my money back, the young manager refused to help. Basically the downtown Chicago store on N Michigan Ave needs to train and hire professionals so they don't rob customers of their money on a simple return and purchaseReview from Nina A

NOTE THIS IS FOR THE CHICAGO LOCATION...
This place is absolute trash. I visited here for the first time today and I highly regret doing so. The staff was fine, but there was a white woman with her husband and two children who were literally taking over the store and just standing in spots where other customers were trying to shop as well. Very inconsiderate.
I went to the fitting room and asked the mom if she was in line, because again, she was taking up so much space with no regard to other people. She haughtily told me that she is waiting for her daughter, not indicating which room her daughter is in. I tried to go into a room and she literally SCREAMED "I just told you my daughter is in there - are you deaf!" I was absolutely stunned. She then went on to call me a teenager / 20 year old (actually a huge compliment because I am much older lol) who is acting like I know everything when I know nothing. The details are fuzzy because I was honestly in shock. But she was so so abrasive and at that point I was done with the store so put the clothes down and left. On my way out, once again, her and her family were crowding the entrance and I had to wait until they were in the mood to budge so I could get the **** out of there. I so wish I could have recorded her outburst to share with the world. It was insane.
I feel bad because the staff themselves were nice, but I'd be remiss if I didn't share this story. i'm honestly still in shock and will never ever return to that store. I don't even want to return to that area (Gold Coast) if those are the kind of customers who shop there.

My daughter has been a big fan of their clothing, but no longer. She purchased two items recently in-person at a brick-and-mortar location. Their dressing rooms are closed because of the pandemic, so she could not try them on in-store. She returned them to the store within a week with the tags and receipt and could only get store credit. They will not reimburse you for the purchase store credit ONLY. They claim this is in fine print on the receipt (but once you get a receipt you have already made the purchase!!!)
This is absolutely absurd. I know of no other clothing store that has such a policy like this during the pandemic (or frankly pre-pandemic). After this experience, our family is really soured on this store. I don't think she or her friends will be shopping there in the future.
Avoid shopping at this store once they get your money, there's no getting it back.
