    This hotel is now under new owners/management. They recently started doing renovations. They were clearly not ready for guests. First, they charged us on check-in instead of check-out. I have never seen that. They charged us an unauthorized $60 security deposit (this was never mentioned to us in writing or verbally). They said it would take ***** hours to get back. When I emailed them it was past 48 hours and not refunded, they said I had to call my credit card company and do the work myself. This is for a charge I had no idea I was going to receive. They said there was WiFi. There was none (talk about adding up charges on your phone!). They did not supply anything for the kitchenette we agreed to pay extra for (no pots, pans, plates, bowls, utensils, cleaning supplies, etc). The entire reason we stayed there was to have a place to **** for my daughter's severe celiac needs. When they said they would bring some, no one showed. They did not supply hangars for the closets, toilet paper (we had to buy our own), a do not disturb sign (I was awoken during a nap), iron/ironing board (they said they'll never supply those), hair dryer, toilet paper roll (we had ours on the back of the toilet), shelf in the shower, and the new construction was shoddy at best (i.e. the shower doors were installed backwards/incorrectly, so you had to get in and out squeezing next to the toilet instead of in front where all the room is). I am pregnant, so having to do all of this was a huge strain on our family. They refused to address our complaints saying they would only write them down. When I complained about the unauthorized security deposit not being known/shared with us, they tried to make me feel stupid by claiming "This is how every hotel does it." Nice try. If there's a security deposit 1) hotels make it known and 2) put it as a hold on your card, not actually charge it through until check out. That's WHY the credit card is on file. DO NOT STAY HERE.
