Hello,This is my written notice to cease contacting my cell/work phone, and you are not authorized to contact any 3rd parties. Also, I called and spoke with an **** and he could not provide me with a physical location for your business; only a PO Box.This is also my written notice that I am revoking any wage assignment that I may or may not be aware of. If you contact me again or send anything to my employer, I will hire counsel as your wage assignment services are considered 3rd party collectors and are governed by federal law ****. Also, I believe this to be a rent a tribe scheme in which *********************** who is not a tribe member along with his non-tribal members are operating and profiting off of this scheme in an effort to evade usury laws.. They operate under numerous names, all with extremely usurious interest rates. Although their website indicates that they are no longer in business.This company has numerous lawsuits filed against them, with a few of them being class action; most currently a class action within the Southern District of ******* regarding First Loan, ***********************, and NP Finance, LLC. They and their wage assignment servicers: Apex Servicing and **************** were also warned by the **************** of ********* Institutions about their practices as none of them have a valid lending/collector license. I will be contacting the ** Attorney General and also the ** ***** of ******** and Insurance about this matter..Regards,*******************************, AAS ParalegalBusiness response

Thank you for contacting Better Day Loan.We are in receipt of the consumers complaint and have investigated the matter. The *** and voluntary wage assignment authority granted by the customer has been revoked. The consumers account has been flagged as cease and desist, and their telephone number added to our Do No Call list. The consumer has been opted-out of future email correspondence.

I have paid the balance in full and the company refuses to mail me a receipt I explained that my rent increased by $650 and do not have internet access to print the receipt. The customer service rep would not give me the *************** number. so I could call myself.He stated he would have them call me. He kept transferring and would come back to the line after time informing me he could not get through He was not rude. just programmed. He kept telling me the conversation we were having was evidence If the company went out of business I would have no proof of payment I have had my rights violated. I have a right to a receipt I can access I do not want to get an Attorney for this matter.Thank you.Business response

Ive been laying off a loan for more than a year now and the payments just keep coming out every 2 weeks. I was on a hardship and still am and its ridiculous that nobody at this company can ever answer the phone or call their customers back with information. When you do get someone its oh so sorry for that maam and then they talk over you the entire time. People are being robbed and this is just unfair. The way the payments are explained also makes no sense. Ive never paid for a loan for almost 2 years like this one. Thats robbery. I want this account closed and labeled as paid off as i have seen other complaining customers write about on here. Horrible.Business response

We understand that you feel that there are unexpected charges associated with your loan. During the loan underwriting process, you were made aware of certain charges or fees related to the loan as well as the APR. Under the Federal Truth in Lending Act and other applicable regulations, we are required to provide an accurate and comprehensive fee disclosure. The charges related to your loan were written out in the loan documentation which you agreed to during the lending process.
Before funding a loan, customers are advised of the total cost of their loan and the fees along with different plans to pay the loan back which we believe are competitive with other lenders. This is an expensive form of borrowing, and it is not intended to be a long-term financial solution. These loans are designed to assist you in meeting your short-term financial needs. We really want to help you.

I spoke to representatives and they told me my last payment was going to be in January nd now theyre coming out with I was in a payment plan so Im still going to be getting charged!!!! I paid a lot already!!! Theyre a SCAM!!!! Always put on hold and you talk to people that dont seem to know what theyre doing at all!!!! I agreed to a small loan of $800 from this company and have paid regularly for a year twice a month. I am unable to contact them to get any information about this loan, they seemed to have disappeared. I know it should be paid off by now, but they keep withdrawing the money every 2 weeks. This is ridiculous, there has got to be a way to contact themBusiness response

Please be reminded that Better Day Loans offers you 3 different payment options and one of them is to pay the loan in full as soon as possible because this is the best way for a customer to avoid paying more than what you needed to pay because the finance fee of your loan is being calculated on a daily basis. So, the longer you pay your loan in full, the higher interest you will also be paying.As a courtesy, we will disregard your remaining balance and your account will now be closed as "Paid Off-Settled".
