I first became aware of Galt Advocacy last year, when ***************** made serious allegations of disability fraud against my sister-in-law(***) who is the primary caregiver for her 65-year-old severely disabled sister (cerebral palsy since birth). Neither had met or heard of ************, but soon came to learn that she was collaborating with my brother-in-law (BIL), a lawyer who has allowed funds intended for his sisters (disabled and caregiver) to pay for virtually all of his living expenses (home, office, utilities, internet, insurance, etc.)Galts allegations have been dismissed and refuted by numerous agencies including ******************************), RCOC (********************************), APS ***************** Services), and the ** (District Attorney). On Memorial Day 2023, ************ showed up uninvited at my SILs residence, along with police officers and BIL, who made the 450 mile journey. **** had never met anyone at the residence before and no one knows why she was there, creating a neighborhood spectacle on a national holiday AND her own childs wedding day! Several family members wrote reviews based on this incident. **** and BIL promptly used their positions to intimidate, threatening legal action. ************ implies that she has only helped by getting more Caregiver hours for my SIL, which begs the question: Isnt it fraud if you obtain hours for someone you believe has committed fraud?!In truth, ************ must realize that over a decade of IHSS annual reports render her allegations of fraud spurious. Now she is simply enabling ***, who has taken over his own disabled sisters primary residence, primary means of transport, and is blocking the funding of her Special Needs Trust, all of which impacts her comfort and security. In so doing, **** is not advocating for the disabled, but causing irrevocable harm. Please investigate these strange business practices. They are unprofessional, and the public deserves some answers.

    Galt Advocacy Response

Galt Advocacy is well known and has an outstanding reputation with the ***********. Galt's staff are mandated to report any fraudulent activity involving County, State and Federal benefits. In this case the person who has provided this very bad complaint (*******************) was not a client of Galt Advocacy. However, one of her sisters was supported by Galt Advocacy to obtain much needed services with the **************** In the process of working with this family member it was discovered that other family members were committing fraud with *** and IHSS moneys. This needed to be reported to the proper authorities. Galt Advocacy first attempted to educate and encourage these particular family members to correct the actions going forward. When this did not happen, ***************** filed a complaint with the proper authorities. This caused the writer of this complaint and the other guilty family member to become angry that they had been discovered. Their fraudulent actions are under investigation at this time. On a weekend following ********************* son's wedding, **** and one of the family members associated with this disabled woman visited the above writer's family. **** and the other family member stood on the sidewalk requesting to visit the disabled woman. The request was polite. The family made a huge scene with screaming vulgar language toward **** and the other family member. **** has video confirmation of what actually took place.
