On March 11th or thereabouts my wife and I bought a 2016 Honda Fit from Manly's certified used cars. About 10 days ago we began using the A/C for the first time since buying the vehicle and it does not produce cold air. We spoke with the salesperson that sold us the car, a fellow named *****. ***** told us that Manly will not do anything about it since we did not buy the extended warranty which would have cost thousands of dollars. I took it to my mechanic. It seems to be a very difficult issue to diagnose and has already cost several hundreds of dollars trying to find the problem. But it is clear that Manly sold us a "certified" used car with a faulty A/C and is now refusing to help us with it. My wife and I bought a new Honda CR-V in 2018 from Manly and several years ago we bought a used For Ranger pickup truck from them. All we can say at this point is that Manly sold us a lemon and will not help us make it right. Is there anything we can do to just get them to repair the A/C on the car? Thank you for any help you can offer us.

HI This is the email I sent to the ** of Manly Honda after purchasing my car from them.. I was told they couldn't help me with anything at all My name is *************************** and I purchased a used 2009 **C Acadia with 66k miles on it from your car lot the middle of **************** was done online and over the phone as I live in **********. Thinking with that low of miles there shouldn't be anything really wrong with it so no need to do a test drive . Within the last month it started hesitating when accelerating. This Monday 3/7 on my way to work my engine light started flashing and the car started shaking horribly and wouldn't go over 40 miles an hour. I immediately took it the nearest **C service center and they informed me 2 spark plugs were bad I had some defective aftermarket coils, which is weird because per the Carfax report the previous owner only took it to **C for all the repairs. ALSO there was extensive rat damage to the cooling system heater hoses (due to the fact the previous owner rarely drove it) Per the Carfax report if was in your service **** for 3 days prior to being put on your website , I purchased it the day it left your service center. Per your website ""Our Honda Certified Pre-Owned inventory offers like-new, gently-used vehicles that undergo a 182-inspection to ensure the quality Honda demands" . If the 182-point inspection was done correctly the EXTENSIVE rat damage to the heater hoses would have been seen. Per Folsom Lake **C where I had my repairs done the rat damage defiantly would have been seen during that inspection. I understand its sold as is but 45 days after purchasing this car I'm now out $2164 for repairs on a vehicle that I trusted would be safe from your lot. I read all of your yelp and customer reviews and trusted I was going thru a reputable company.

I bought a 2014 Honda accord from Manly Honda in Santa **** **********. When I bought the car it was four years old. The car is now eight years old. In the last six months the paint is peeling off of the back window of the car and off of the front end of the car. I took the car back to Manly Honda and they told me theres nothing they can do. The head of finance ***************************** told me that they can put me in a brand new car and put this one out for auction. I told him I dont want that I want this car I want it to be repaired. The only thing they offered me is to do spot painting where the paint is currently peeling. I got on the Internet and looked and the Hondas that have ******************* paint from 2013 to 2017 have an issue the paint is peeling off not just Accords but any vehicle with that color of paint.I called headquarters of Honda and they said that the car was no longer under warranty and that there is nothing they can do. And that there is no recall notice for the paint on my vehicle. I called Manly Honda again, and asked them to replace the paint and give me a discount for it. They refused. I believe that since I bought the car from Manly Honda that they should repaint the car for me at either a discounted price or for free. When I went there they told me this happens with paint some times. I want Manly Honda in Santa **** to do something for me more than just spot painting. I want them to paint the entire car because this is going to continue to happen. Im still making payments on this vehicle. Also, when I purchased the car I was talked into spending an extra $800 for a protective coating that would protect the paint. when I mentioned it they told me its only for bird p*** and that it doesnt protect it against peeling. This should not be happening to a car that is eight years old. Thank you so much for your time. Sincerely, ************************

I purchased a vehicle from Manly Honda last year. The process was unfortunately terrible. I received a letter from the *** stating that the registration was never paid on the ***** 6 I traded in to them. They had never filed the release of liability to the *** so the *** was coming after me for payment on a vehicle that they now owned. I paid the *** and would like to be reimbursed. I have tried contacting them multiple times to no response after they had told me on the phone that they would make it right.

*************************** manly honda sales manager is using the honda financial credit application to check credit on applicants for his personal property.I applied to a house ***** was advertising to rent and he sent me a link to manly honda's credit application for leasing and purchasing a car.I was sent a letter in the mail stating that my credit was ran through the honda credit system.I was never informed whether I was approved or not for the house and this brought my suspicion that the use of this credit application was used for personal use and not for anything related to honda. This seems to me as an illegal activity and needs to be brought to attention to Honda.

I came into Honda on August 25 with the intent to trade my 2019 Tesla in and get a Honda. I already had one I was interested in, it was a 2018 Honda Accord EX-L. I did most of the paper work online and was under the impression all I had to go is sign the contract. Once I arrive, Im being asked if I want to add on extra features. I was told my car has passed the 50-point inspection and the brakes, tread on tires etc were over 50%. On my drive home the brakes are squeaking, heated seat doesnt work, when in reverse and turning it makes a loud noise. I come to get it fixed and Im being told it would take a week. They are giving me a loaner car. When I come to sign for the loaner car it says 2 weeks. I was called on Labor Day about my car being ready, they can deliver the car to me, but I was out of town. I went to pick the car up a few days later. I check the heated seat, it works. The brakes seemed okay. Now, a few days later Im having the same brake issue.
