On 11/29/2023 - Order Titan High Efficiency Log Grate with Reflective Fireback 26 wide, **** tall Order said it would ship free in 2 days. I received confirmation email for my order. 3 days went by and I didnt receive a shipping email, so I went on site to track package. I had to register my account to track package, and as it brought up my account, it said No order has been made yet. So I checked my credit card and no charges were pending in the past 3 day. So I tried calling the number ************** on the web site and it had a busy signal right away. Thats when I look them up on BBB, and saw that this could be a fraudulent site with bad reviews. Im not sure what this site did with my credit card info etc. My credit has been frozen for a year now and I have checked all 3 credit bureau's for any suspicious activity along with keeping an eye on credit card as well. This site Fireplaces.com should be taken down. I only hope I dont have any charges on my credit card or hits on my credit reports due to this fraudulent site in the near future.Initial Complaint

I bought liquid ethanol from this website and never received my order. I emailed them and have received no response. When I call them I only get a busy signal. This company is a scam. They are stealing money from hard working Americans. They're fraudulent and they need to be stopped.Initial Complaint

I placed an order on 2/26/2023 for an Electric Fireplace Insert. I gave them my credit card *************** received an order # confirmation online only.I did not receive any follow up, no email, no tracking, nothing... and there is no way to reach them.Now, I'm just waiting for a charge or worse - identity theft - who knows.. this WEBSITE NEEDS TO COME DOWN off the internet - - they are baiting people for private account information. On January 22, 2023 I ordered a Chimney Cap from Fireplacess.com. I paid with my credit card. I have not received the product. I tried their phone number & got the message that the phone number is no longer in service. There appears to be no way to get in touch with anyone from this company. I believe this is a scam site & should be shutdown.Initial Complaint

Date of Transaction: March 11, 2022 Purchased on-line order from "fireplacess.com" for two replacement blower fan motors 550 cfm.Total Cost: $128.67 Order Number: ***** Method of Payment: my credit card I placed this order online. I did not receive the items ordered, nor did I receive an email from the company. I tried to contact (3/21/22) through their "Contact Us" on website, no reply from them.I tried to call the number listed on their website ************; Phone prompt states " number cannot be connected".There seems to be no way to contact this company. Unfortunately I have given them my credit card information on their "secure" website.https://www.trustpilot.com/review/fireplacess.com - I just found other complaints about this same company through this website. I am obviously not the only person to run into problems with them.This company needs to be shut down, so they cannot fraud other unsuspecting consumers.Customer response

Yes, I would like the BBB to process the complaint against fireplacess.com.
I feel they should not be allowed to advertise online for goods and/or services they have no intention of fulfilling. It is not right, nor safe for this company to take a consumer's credit card and address information with no intention of fulfilling a service.
How does this company get stopped? I am obviously not the only person to try to order something from them. There have been others that have given their credit card information for a service that was not followed through with.
I'm not exactly sure how to go about processing a complaint with the BBB, as I have never done this before.

This business so called Fireplacess- doesnt exist!They have a fake number, fake address, and no email.They collect peoples personal ******************** card numbers Then cancel your order.And I dont know who they sell it to.I placed an order for a fireplace, and shipping is free,after that havent heard.Order number: ***** Date: March 12, 2022 Email: ****************** Total: $269.99 Please look into this fraudulent site! I saw a review that someone already filed with BBB complaint And nothing is being done, Their site still exists.Dangerous!Thank you!!*****************************
