On June 23rd i went into their shop in ************** to get some signs printed for my business. I purchase 10 road side signs adn 1 A frame for a total of $921. I was supposed t supply them with artwork but during the process of getting some made we decided we didn't need the signs anymore and attempted to get a refund on July 18th. The owner refused to give me my money back and has been holding it for months. I have asked several times to get my money back and explained my situation but the owner doesn't care and is trying to force me to purchase signs we don't need. On 8/19 I asked him again to refund me. I still have not heard back from them so I had to elevate my complain.Business response

Hello,
We have tried to work with the client.
He placed the order on 6/23/2022 and tried reaching out to him multiple times to request the Text for A-frame with no response. Then on 7/18/2022 9almost a month later) we received and email asking if he could cancel the order. We explained to him that by that time it was too late, had already order all the materials, cut it into the sizes he requested.
We even offered to print another business on the materials to make it work for him and all he expects is his money back. With all of our time and material there isn't any money left to return to him.
Please let me know if there anything we can answer?

I am rejecting this response because: This doesn't make any sense. How did they spend the money on time and materials without getting the art work to do the job with? Also even if things were cut I ordered standard items that can easily be resold as they have not been printed yet. I have attempted to ask the printer what he needed to finish the job over a week ago and I have not received any answer. He says its been almost 9 months. Much of this time is from the owner ignoring my requests to find a middle ground and settle the issue, if you check out emails you can see it takes sometimes over a week to get this business to respond. I have asked many times if we can find a way to satisfy both businesses but he is unwilling to budge at at all. This is why I had to elevate my complaint.

We have done everything the client asked for. Now he realized nearly a month after he placed his order he no longer needs it we should refund him his money?
first of all these are off the shelf products, these are made to order
Secondly we state to the client we have a No refund policy. Due the nature of our work we provide.
We are willing to finish the printing as we have requested the artwork from the original order date and still haven't received anything.

I am rejecting this response because: nearly a month is an acceptable time to issue a refund especially since no work has been done. He has not lost any investment and is just withholding my money.
