    It started on 3/20/23 when I took my 2000 chev silverado truck to liberty chev because the service soon light came on, on 3/19/23, the service manager ********************* gave name the paper work I told me they would diagnose the problem and get back to me, he called me that day and told me that the #2 knock cencor code was bad and needed to be replaced, I told him since its another cencor there change both of them, he suggested changing the wire harness also because of the heat factor, I agreed. He call me late that afternoon and left a message on home phone that the truck was ready for pick up, due to a doctors appt. I called for the shuddle to pick me up the morning of the 21st. to get my truck, I paid them . On 4/22/23 light back on, due to doctors appts. I took my truck back on 4/28/23 for same problem, he told me the new wire harness they had put on was defective so they were going to replace it and the 2 cencors which in fact ,the codes were for the cencors and the wire harness so they only changed the cencors 1 time and the codes call for all 3 parts. He called me on 4/28/23 said it ready, I picked it up no charge, 5/1/23 light back on, back to chev on 5/2/23 **** put the tester in my computer ,same codes came up, Now just to make sure all the info chev test were correct I had been going to ********** auto to have them test my truck also and there test shows the same codes from the day before I went to chev until this day. 5/2/23 **** said he talked to his supervisor an mechanic and they decided it may be the main computer, he said if its not I wouldn't have to pay, 5/23/23. When they were finished installing the computer I drove off and before I could drive 5 miles ,light back on, took it back on 5/30/23 and they had it until the end of June ,when they told me there is nothing else they could to fix the problem, I told **** I paid for a job, you didn't fix it and you are going to keep my money ,said I'm sorry. Now I can't get my truck Smogged.

    I selling my Chevrolet. There were a couple of items wrong with it. To maximize the value of the car I had Liberty Chevrolet local dealership (Selma CA) Go through the car, fix the items, and fix anything else they might find wrong with it I put an entry into Kelly Blue Book about selling my car. I put all the particulars in - make, model, year, mileage. The car has no scratches, dents, and I had had it recently detailed to make it the most presentable for resale. This entry into Kelly Blue Book led to me receiving an offer from Liberty Chevrolet for the amount of 11,625. Note that this is the same dealership that had done repairs on the car. I was asked to bring in the car so that Liberty Chevrolet could examine it. They did their examination and said that the most they could pay me with 7500. We got into a discussion as to why such a discount. The appraiser said that because of the mileage they would not be able to sell it on their lot. They would have to send it to auction. Then why have me bring it in for an exam - you already had the mileage. A couple of weeks later I got a call from Liberty Chevrolet asking if I was still interested in selling them my car. I said no because I didn't feel that I had not been ethically dealt with previously. They had already inspected the car and made me a low offer. Why are you calling me again? The girl the phone did not seem to have much of an answer so I asked to talk to a manager. The “manager” said the price is probably discounted because they found something wrong with the car. I responded that your own shop did all inspection/repairs. Then he said that the offer came from Kelly Blue Book - not from Liberty. I responded that the offer had Liberty Chevrolet on it. Lot of excuses/contradictions. They were unethical in their dealings. I felt that this is a form of bait and switch. I also felt cheated that their own service shop did about $1500 in repairs. Now I am suspect if the repair shop is honest.
