I ordered the Redken Extreme shampoo and conditioner (Order # *******) on 8/6/2022. I had a horrible experience with the product they sent me. I used the shampoo which made my scalp ****** but I wasnt concerned at that point. I rinsed out the shampoo and applied the conditioner and my hair immediately became gummy and stretchy. I was horrified and honestly thought that my hair was ruined. I rinsed out the conditioner as quickly and as thoroughly as possible. I then allowed my hair to air dry. Fortunately, the damage wasnt quite as bad as I feared and I am not bald. However, a lot of my hair did shear off and fall out. I tried to reach out to Beauty Care Choices through the Contact Us option on their website but did not heard back. I then emailed them and asked if anyone else had reported issues with this product. They responded and asked for the batch number. I sent them the information they requested on 9/1/2022 and have not heard back from them since, despite follow-up emails that I sent asking if they'd looked into it and later requesting a refund. I was very calm and patient considering the awful experience I had with the product they sent me. I am terrified to use anything else that I ordered from them. I would like to be refunded. I will gladly send the products back.Business response

I have attached the full $784.10 order that **************** ordered and received in full. She claims she had issues with the performance of 2 of the products out of the 21 she ordered. She processed a chargeback with her credit card company for the full $784.10. Once a chargeback is pending, we can't issue a credit, our credit for $86.52. is also pending her credit card company's review of her chargeback.
Further, anytime a customer has a reaction to a product we ask that they contact the manufacturers technical hotline, and we contact them as well. Based off the products this customer ordered, her hair was in really bad shape which is why she purchased so many repairing items. All of the products, bleach recovery, K18, and the Redken Extreme are all to help very damaged hair. So to say this shampoo caused her issues, we are not sure that is the case.
However, we still would refund her regardless if she was unhappy with her products. But we can't until she corrects the chargeback for the full amount.

I am rejecting this response because: I requested a refund after weeks passed with no response. The credit card company closed their review. As of October 13, 2022, Beauty Care Choices has received payment for the full order and no refunds have been issued.
I purchased the products after my stylist and I discussed going more blonde at my next appointment, not because my hair was ****** damaged. The purchase was made as a preventive measure and the products I chose were based on advice from a stylist. Please see the attached photos for reference.

As you can see in my previous attachment, Beauty Care Choices did not request that I contact Redken. They asked me to send photos of the batch numbers from the products and stated that they would forward the photos to Redken. I did not hear back from Beauty Care Choices after I forwarded the photos. Beauty Care Choices offered neither contact information for Redken nor a refund for the products that I was unsatisfied with.
I would like to be refunded for the Redken Extreme products that I purchased.
Extreme Length Shampoo, Conditioner, and Sealer.
Extreme Shampoo, Conditioner, Mask, and Play Safe.
Extreme Play Safe Heat Protectant.

I've been using Goldwell Hair products for several years. I originally purchased my hair care products from the salon, until it became available at Amazon. Amazon no longer offers the ****oz kerasilk control shampoo or conditioner. I looked on-line for my products. I found everything I use at BeautyCareChoices.com. They offered 20% off for 1st order. I placed an order for 1 kerasilk conditioner ****oz $68.97, 1 kerasilk shampoo ****oz $64.97, 1 kerasilk smoothing fluid 2.5oz $30.97 & a couple other Goldwell products that I thought I'd try - DeFrizz Primer 2.5oz $30.97 & Finishing Cream 0.7oz $9.97. Total (including 20% off) is $164.70. I used my normal products for the 1st time yesterday. All 3 of my everyday products weren't what I've been using for years... I compared my products I've had at home, to the newly purchased/just used products- the shampoo's: different color & smell, left my hair straw like, conditioner's: not as thick, didn't moisture my hair, smoothing fluid: was very runny, didn't make my hair smooth. I called Beauty Care Choices & was told, I'd have to pay for the items to be shipped back & by Feb 1st or I'd be charged a 20% restocking fee also.
