            I recently got an eye exam to get contacts. I called to get my contact prescription refilled and I was told over the phone that they only sold 12 months supply or 6 months supply for contact lenses. So I asked for the 6 month supply and paid $85 over the phone with my debit card. I waited 3 weeks and called saying they didn't come in the mail and they apologize and said they dropped the ball and forgot to ship them. A week later I received one box of six contact lenses. I called them and asked why I only got a 3 month supply and they said that I got a 6-month supply for one eye and that if I wanted it for two eyes I needed to buy another box. They told me it is what it is I can buy another box for 6 months. But over the phone I was not offered a 3 months supply and I was quoted $85 now I'm being told I need to buy more to get what I was quoted for. I also discovered online I can buy the same type of contacts for less so I just want to return these contacts. And shop somewhere else.

            So this is my first negative review on here but I feel people need to be warned about this place! It took me over a year and a half to get a working pair of single vision glasses, and that was after over forty unreturned calls during this time period and SEVERAL mistakes on the progressive lenses they upselled me on for hundreds of dollars that they still haven’t fixed for me! And they won’t return my money or fix them! I have had glasses for 35 years and have never had any kind of ongoing nightmare even remotely like this. Talking with optometrists in Redding I found out why this place is known as the “bottom of the barrel”, save yourself an inordinate amount of time, headaches, and misery and go ANYWHERE else.
