Had them come and do some kitchen remodeling. Was quoted a price which was fine. A problem arose(mold underneath sink) and was charged an additional $7500 to fix the issue. It was not completed correctly and materials were not replaced. other repairs came up as well, according to them) so I was charged more. When the actual remodeling came about, everything was done incorrectly. Nothing was cut properly, fit and finish was sub par. Crooked wood and wavy quartz finish. Not smooth and/or sanded down smoothly. When I complained about this, they gave me every excuse in the book and said thats how it was done. The hired workers, were not trained for this job at all. I spoke to several of them and they all told me the same thing, barely came to this country and needed a job. Sad. Been reading other reviews here and on yelp, and they all pretty much explain the exact same thing I dealt with. I got scammed out of $19k for this remodeling and not even half the work was done, and incorrectly built/placed. Sad how this company scams people out of their hard earned money with unprofessional work and not take responsibility on how to fix the issues.

They will approach you with a grand offer, especially with seniors, to tie many home improvements into one stated price. In my case there were many needed repairs, so many that I had to refuse their initial package deal. Interesting sequence led to the subject of foundation repair, which I considered most important and decided on that, alone, as my sole need at the time.The initial phase of the job was inspecting & retrofitting, which only took 2 & 1/2 single-man days to complete. There were still a minimal number of support pads needing repair, but inspection was made and approved at this point. Already at the $16k point, I had to check with our city to verify the permit, and its validity over such a job costing so much after so few hours actually worked. Very revealing to find that no permit was issued until ten days after start, that the name on the permit was NOT CalDream&Remod, and the license number was that of a dedicated retrofitting company, NOT CalDream&Remod. The salesman claimed that the three men (one each day) were employees of CalDream. Ended up that the permit was issued to allow the inspection be made by a recognized employee of a true retrofit company. I still suspect coercion due to the phone number shown on the permit being a THIRD party. This party may have only been a messenger to submit info to the city, and applied well after the work began and was completed! Afterwards, under threat of attorney, I was asked to pay an additional $4K final payment, bringing my total payment to CalDream&Remod of $20K. I was charged essentially twice the going rate for a 2 & 1/2 day job. I will NEVER recommend this company to any U.S. homeowner, PERIOD! They prey on seniors, and raise serious questions in their permit application process. For validation, this job occurred in the small city of ************, ******DJO
