I was contacted by RMS, Residential Mortgage Solutions and was told that they would work with my mortgage company and get my interest rate lowered and negotiate my late payment to make my account current as in a fresh start. I paid them 4 payments of $600.00 and on the 5th payment I went to the bank and had that check canceled and closed the account because I couldn't get a hold of anyone from RMS.Initial Complaint

In July 2021, my husband was contacted by this company, they said they could lower our interest rate to 2.75%, it would cost $1000 per month, if it took them 2 months it would cost $2000, up to $4000, 4 months, if it took longer there would be no charge. They said we just pay them instead of our mortgage and it would be absorbed into the new lower interest rate. The mortgage company made an offer of 3.5% on October 27, so we should not have had a final payment but they did not tell us until Nov 13 about the offer that required our first payment to be made on November 1, 2021. They explained they were still working to get the interest rate lower and not to sign yet. I specifically asked if it was going to extend our mortgage back to 30 years and *********** specifically said no, come to find out it does and from not paying those 4 months and not signing the offer, we are still dealing with this "modification" and we are $16,000+ behind and are lucky that they have not foreclosed on our house... my husband********************** got scammed and we continue to try to get our situation under control. I got a call back in April of 2021 from **** ********************************* he stated he could help me refinance my mtg because it was behind due to my mother's death. He said no problem they could lower the payment and interest rate and get rid of the back pay all he need was to pay 5 payments of 1200.00 and they could do the loan (payments and dates I paid: 6/7/21 $1200, 7/4/21 $1200, 8/4/21 $1200, 9/13/21 $1200, and 10/14/21 $1200). Filled out paper from them in 2021 which I have copies of. sent them bank statements (in Dec 2021 and Jan 2022 and May 2022) 3 difference times. ************************************************************* who **** said was the loan processor and was going to receive the Bank statement and finish the loan, stated she never received the bank statements. Now none of them will return email or phone calls and now my house could be going into foreclosure. Please help me. Thank you, ****Business response

I've paid them 2 payments of 800 each for march and April to find out that they've never been working with select portfolio services and a foreclosure sale is set for ******** on my home. First I dealt with ****** *****, then it was ******* ****, and ******* finally told me that sps wouldn't work with me because I wasn't on the Loan with them but I'm on title so now I'm having to file a chapter 7 to get a stay on my home to keep from it being sold I want my **** refunded asap this company is crooked and with intent to defraud me out of my money I will hire an attorney to sue them also I can be reached at ************Initial Complaint

i was approched by phone telling me that they can lowing my mortgage payment to ****** and i had to make payment of ****** for 3 months so i did 07/09/21 09/09/21 and 10/09/21 and my mortgage company worked out a payment interest and payment onf ****** and almost lost the house they did not help house try and save at all i have tried to to get my my $******* back from them i have email the manage********** and ********* seveal times they will not return my email or my phone calls i was told if i email them they will call me and they will not call me me i am asking for my ******* they have not done anything for the money i have giving them i have started paying my mortgage may 1st 2022but i need that ******* i have the money orders i sent them please help me get my money back from them thanks
