Approximately a month ago, possibly longer, the pool vacuum was removed without permission or without notification (approximate value of vacuum, $450.00-$500.00).The bill for the month of March was $445.00. The additional services were performed without notification or consent (this is a 261% increase from the typical monthly bill of $170.00).From the month of March on, the condition of the pool drastically declined instead of improving. One would expect the condition of the pool to improve since additional services were allegedly performed.I had a second opinion by another pool service company the week of 06/03/24 and the owner said the pool was in a state of severe neglect. The pool was full of dirt, leaves, algae, and debris. He performed chemical tests and said there was zero chlorine in the pool (although I was charged for 8 gallons of chlorine at the end of May). He also said that the pH levels were abnormally through the roof.On 05/30/24, Mr. ********************** stated that the cost to get the pool in shape would be $730.00. When I responded that I did not want to invest this amount (because I would soon be selling the house following the death of my mom), he stated that someone might report me to the City. The person who gave me a second opinion on the pool said he would be able to get the pool in shape for $350.00, $380.00 less than the quote by Mr. **********************.I terminated service with Mr. ********************** on 06/10/24. He said I owed him money for the month of May ($230.00) and for half of the month of June, although he only came one day in the month of June (he did not state a specific amount) and there was no improvement in the overall condition of the pool after this single visit).I would like this resolved first by having the pool vacuum returned or I would like to be reimbursed for it. I would like to be refunded for the months of March and April since the pool drastically declined during these months. By the end of May, the pool was in a state of disrepair.
