BEWARE! Dental staff themselves are talented and nice, but should leave and go find another office. The front office billing practices are questionable to say the least. Mimi, office manager never responds to calls and when I requested estimates for work - each time the prices of everything was different. One time the crown would cost $898, another $999 and still another for $1200 for the same tooth - all of those prices were hundreds above the allowed maximum billing by the insurance company. Instead of dealing with me directly, returning my numerous phone calls or even answering my mailed letter they turned me over to collections because they don't have any idea how to properly bill dental insurance companies. I question whether or not this misbilling is done on purpose to get more money out of patients who don't know any better. If you look on Nextdoor.com there are several additional complaints from several other past clients who have also had billing woes with Simi Valley Smiles some even having to go as far as small claims court. My next step is with the BBB and disputing charges. Do yourselves a huge favor and stay away from this headache enducing office.
