Early in December 2021, I advised the personal trainer that I was working with that I was no longer interested in training. I spoke to the manager, B****, who said I had paid through the end of the month, so I continued to go. I told my trainer, G***, and B**** that the personal training part of my membership was to end. I was extremely uncomfortable there because many of the gym members were not wearing masks (required at that time), and the staff was not enforcing the requirement. I told B**** that I would not be using a trainer, and would come back to the gym when there were Zumba classes and I could exercise without a mask. I was charge $140 on January 2, January 25 and February 25, 2022. The new manager, Shawn, who has no supervisor, will not give me a refund, saying that there is nothing in my record that shows I wanted to end the personal training. B**** is now at another gym and he doesn't take my calls. Fitness 19 has stolen $420 from me, and I don't have any way to stop them from continuing to take money from my bank account.Initial Complaint

I have been a member of Fitness 19 for awhile. In 2019 i paid $299 for a lifetime membership but they continue to charge me a monthly of $7.99 and have not stopped. I have called the Newbury park location several times and recently Spoke to Brandon who started he would take care of this. NEWBURY park location is where I originally signed up. But I signed up and paid at the Simi Valley location for the lifetime membership. Both locations have refused to address this issue of the overcharge despite my calls.. I spoke to the Simi Valley Manager today Mr. BLAKE HANSEN and he sent me to the Newbury Park location. The business should stop the charges and reimburse me the over charges since I became a lifetime member. I need this corrected and have the location managers agree to resolve the matter.
