    I had secured a reservation #7******* for Oct 2nd thru Oct 3rd. Upon arriving, management refused to honor Military rate of $134.63. Resulting in rebooking at a rate of $191.10. I am requesting $58 credit back to my card. Folio #92791

    I stayed at Simi Valley 3/14-3/16 for a work training with my company Pentair. My company did not just book over 50 rooms with Courtyard but we also rented out the conference room for over $700 to conduct some training. The evening of 3/15 I briefly left my room to get ice and when returning I could not get back into the room. I went downstairs and the only employee was a receptionist Danae (I apologize if I did not spell her name correctly) and she gave me a new key. I attempted two different times to get in my room and both times I could not. Danae used all of her keys she had to try and unable to get in. I was in my pjs embarrassed and she put her GM Atefah on the phone and Atefah began to raise her voice telling me to calm down. Can you imagine if I had my infant or child in the room and I am standing in the lobby in pjs being told to calm down. I asked for another room until they could get in mine and I was told "Your company reserved them all and we do not have any." The maintenence guy would not answer and they had to call the regional to come out. It took 2 hours and he had the tool to fix it the whole time in the hotel. Saturday, 3/18 I received a call and I told her in depth what happened and that I was disappointed it took me filing a complaint to hear back. During the call she apologized about the actions of the GM and the fact that there was not an escalation process in this situation. I asked her what she feels would make this right and she said, 1 night free. I was appalled. Being the Quality Assurance Manager for the company that gives this hotel so much business I was taken back. I was even more shocked when I asked her title and come to find out she was the GM Akefah who was raising her voice and during the phone she was apologizing for her "GM's actions" and it was her the whole time! I have escalated this to my Director to let them know how poorly they treated a Pentair employee who we give so much business to.
