Looking for someone to work at a snail’s pace, then you have found the right guy. He might show up to start the workday by 1030 only to leave a few hours later to take his boy to soccer, returning later that night. He had a condescending attitude while talking to my wife as she explained how he never followed through with certain details of the job, there was always an excuse why it wasn’t his fault. Pieces from the new fixtures came up missing only to be found at his home or truck. Why were they even in those places? Charged 650 dollars to install a 6 position valve for the shower which never worked properly. He attempted to fix it several times with no luck, stating he thinks it needs flushed or silicone grease. WRONG. My wife look at it for five minutes and found he installed a threaded sleeve upside down not allowing the valve to seal properly. There must be low standards for home contractors in California, because the first year high school students attending Okaloosa Technical College perform at a higher level. Shady business practices, caught him trying to over charge for a subcontracted quartz install the actual quartz contractor charged 250 dollars less. Make sure you get all work to be accomplished in writing if you still want to hire him after reading this. It seems his behavior is a trend that followed him from California. This is not a professional work ethic and needs to be corrected.
