6/15/21 was 1st vet appt. My cat Yoko was loosing weight rapidly. **************** read me the wrong test results (faxed from my last vet) on our first phone call telling me she had a mass infection and renal failure. He realized his mistake and didnt clarify what was wrong with the cat. *****, office assistant, tried to schedule her for a spay appointment when cat was spayed 15+ yrs ago. Misquoted medication price, I found out it was higher than they told me after they ran my credit card. They took their own set of blood and said they looked normal. Then called 2 hours later saying they werent fine and she had hyperthyroidism. Cat was having massive problems with the meds. They told me that the meds didnt have any side effects. Ever med has side effects! Cat ended up at an emergency vet bc she was on twice the meds she needed and had an intense allergy to the med. It exacerbated her kidneys to a dangerous point.Cat was in pain near death. ER vet was SO expensive.Business response

The attached business response comes from Sonoma Veterinary Clinic. It is unacceptable to me. What is fair is for me to be paid back the entirety of what I spent there as I had to take my cat later to an emergency vet (which was much more expensive) due to ******************** and his staff's egregious erors.
Also, the message is mostly untrue.
-To my knowledge, I haven't seen any attempt to resolve this issue since I opened up a claim with the BBB. There was no prior attempt to reconcile with me. The contact they did make was an apology for the difficult position I was in, not apologizing for their mistakes and finding a way to make up for it. They took no responsibility.
-They did endanger my pet.
-They treated her with twice the amount of medication she needed according to ****** in *******, so the claim to have treated the pet conservatively is a lie.
-I also never told them that the cat was better. If the cat was better at any point, I wouldn't have had to take her to an emergency vet.
