      On 2/4/2020 I hired a catering company for my *******. On that day I sent them a deposit of $200. I have postponed my ******* party twice due to the pandemic and ultimately came to the decision to cancel it. I reached out to the company on 5/12/21 to ask for a refund. They informed me that on the contract I signed it stated it was non-refundable, however I didn't sign that contract (attached below). I have tried to work with them so I won't lose my deposit but they have not been very nice or helpful. We're still living in a pandemic, I am no longer have this party, after learning more about this company and how they operate, I no longer desire their services and requesting my money back so we can both move on. They have provided me with horrible customer service, I was told on 6/7/21 that the manager ***** would call me and he hasn't. It is very upsetting that in a situation like this where many are facing financial issues, this company wants to be very selfish rather than helpful.

      Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2021/09/14) */ It is unfortunate to received this notice but unfortunately as a company we have regulations and policy's. Due to our contract being done over the phone and not in person we do let the client know that by sending deposit they agree to our terms and conditions for booking. It is very clear that any deposit mares are not refundable. We do offer date change as long it has been made minimum one month before original event date. Not the costumer has mention that she had pospone her event due to the pandemic meaning we had gone beyond to help and reschedule her event multiple times. As a costumer they are responsible for booking or rescheduling an event while everyone is experiencing the same situation with Covid. Unfortunately we can not help this costumer anymore than we already have.
