I spoke with a customer service representative on May ********* and submitted a copy of my removal date letter from ******* stating that I could have the device removed on May 30th 2024. I have also already paid the fee for removal. It is now June 28th ****************************************************************** to get an unrestricted license back. I spoke with a customer service representative today and she said that the email got overlooked and that she would be sending it over to PennDOT urgently and hung up on me. This has now resulted in another month of payment as well as a brand new calibration when it should have been out a month ago. Had they submitted the form like they stated on May 20th that they would have. In December of 2023 I had to have my car towed to the interlock vendor because of a malfunctioning device. I still have yet to receive compensation for that tow. It is almost impossible to speak to customer service representatives when they claim to have 24/7 365 customer service. This company is an absolute joke. I just want this removed from my vehicle ASAP and compensated for their negligence.

There is no way to get ahold of low cost interlock. I had to file a complaint with the state of minnesota for this company to address an issue that comes up.Currently I have a handheld that doesn't register test samples. I need to do a vehicle transfer, lowcostinterlock wants to use failing equipment in transfer. The customer service rep named *** refused to give any information on anything. Than hung up claiming it was rude of me for wanting different equipment installed during the transfer. I also noticed I've been charged for this vehicle transfer and it hasn't even been scheduled with a shop yet.Inaddtion *** claimed the device not taking a sample was somehow a state law. This is complete nonsense than when asked again why the device isn't registering a sample when blowing into it she stated there's thousands of customers nationwide. Then she hung up claiming I was being rude for requesting new equipment that works during the "transfer."Completely unprofessional

My vehicle has been in the shop getting a new engine put in for close to a year. I supp[lied the documentation from the repair shop to Low-Cost Interlock so that they would be aware of that after they alerted the *** about 6 months ago that I hadn't blown in the unit for 30 days. Now they've once again told the *** (Fraudulently) that I have not blown for 30 days knowing full well that my car is in the shop. The *** has given me a 6 month extension on the blow and go with no recourse and Low-Cost Interlock refuses to help or contact the *** and let them know that they erroneously reported incorrect information to them.

On Monday, 3-4-2024, I went to start my car and realized the interlock unit had drained my battery...again. I charged the battery and, when full, tried to start my car. The interlock device didn't come on. No matter how many times I turn the key to initiate it, it doesn't power up. I have been trying to call Low Cost Interlock since Monday starting at 9:00am and staying on hold until 6:00pm at night. They say they answer their phones 24-7. That is a LIE!!! I have had no way to work and consequently have lost my job. These people were charging me full price when I was on the low-income program and I had to call the ex-CEO of the company to reach out and fix that for me. In the writing of this somebody actually answered the phone - after 5 days - but then promptly put me on hold and disconnected the call after I told her what the problem was!!! Low Cost Interlock continually will not respond to any email or phone call. I feel I am being abused by this company and would like some results with this matter. This company has horrible customer service. You pay for their product -which has not worked right from day one - and I would not recommend using them. It seems once they have your money they are done with you. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a business. Currently, I am still on hold...

I have had a interlock decide installed in my vehicle since Sept 11, 2023. Now the device seems to have completed altered my vehicle's ability to function. My battery became completely drained and my car would turn off while driving. The interlock device would work intermittently. I changed the battery. Now other serious issues are occuring relating to the malfunction of this product which has left my car turning off while in motion. I have been trying to reach LCI for 10 days on their emergency line and there has not been anyone answering whatsoever. I have been completely stranded due to this malfunction which has severely endangered my car.

Low cost interlock has continually has not replied by phone or email to either myself or my install service representative. there seems to be a problem with this company I started with in august 23. I broke my leg and had extensive surgery placing 8 pins and two plates in my lower left leg, which happened on September 11 ,early evening.Since this accident I have not only been unable to walk let alone drive. So my device locked up and needed to be reset for calibration by the installer. myself and the installer have been trying to reach this company for help with the work order Supposedly was sent to the Installler on Saturday, which DID NOT happen. the woman i spoke with called me back stating that the work order had been sent to the installer. Wrong ! it was Not sent to him so he cannot do the procedure to release my car. Now two weeks later and another payment paid, they will not respond to Any email or phone call from either myself or the installer. Also i signed a contract stating my monthly payment was set at ***** a month and recently they changed my monthly payment to ****** with no reason why they raised the monthly cost. I feel I am being abused by this company and would like some results with this matter.

Ive had several issues with my breathalyzer that was court ordered. Multiple failures for no reason. The court authorized the removal one year ago but decided to keep it longer. On 14 November I was stranded at a gas station getting gas and had to have my car towed. Since then, I have been without a car and have made multiple attempts to call them and no answer. I also had my attorney contact them and they also got no response. I am paying a car payment and which I cant even drive my car. I paid the exit fee of $108 and then they turned around and hit me with a new charge of 85. If my car is not dealt with in the next two weeks Im gonna be hit with another $85 for a car Im not even driving. The only reason I just dont have it taken out because the people that put it in said they have to have an approval from low cost even though the court system says I can take it out. I am at a loss right now and I cannot believe this is happening to me. I need to drive to work, and I have been using Uber and Lyft, which is more money out of my pocket , looking at all of the reviews this was the last place I ever went. I need help please Im not getting anywhere.

I had to sign up with this company for 106 days. When I scheduled the appointment to have the breathalyzer installed, I was told it would be $120 to install and $91 per month to have the breathalyzer. When I had the device installed the guy that owns the shop says okay $150. I said, I thought it was $120? He said nope, weve raised our prices. That was my first red flag, but it was already installed which took several hours so I had no option. They have been debiting $91 per month and I just had to go to the shop to get it calibrated, I go to drive away once done and the shop says oh its $45. I said what do you mean its $45? I pay $91 per month to have this. I called the company to complain and ask for a supervisor to listen to my initial phone call where the representative never mentioned an extra $45 per calibration on top of the $91 per month and the installation fee. There is also a removal fee as well.

      Summary:

The calls were reviewed, and the client was not told about the calibration fee, however, the fee in question is for a service that LCI does not manage. This service is done by our third-party service centers as required by the *******************. The fees are set by these service centers as well. ************ was also advised that her fees are listed on her leasing contract for reference. Due to the client's frustration , her monthly fee was reduced to $75.35. She was advised to respond to a supervisor's email with further questions or concerns so she may be assisted.
