    I initially contacted this company in October regarding the Consignment of a high quality Thomasville Asian Ming Burlwood white coffee table. I called and spoke personally to several representatives and was told that I needed to send pictures and that consignment would be split 50/50. I was also advised that it would cost $169.00 for the pickup and once they receive the table, their appraisers/furniture evaluators would determine its value. I completed the online application for consignment and contemplated on whether or not I was willing to pay the $169.00 pickup fee. After going against my better judgment, I went ahead and scheduled the pickup for November 30, 2021.Once they received the table, their appraisers/furniture evaluator would determine the value and it could take up to 2 weeks before knowing the value and that I would also make the pickup fee back once sold.Once they picked up my table, I heard nothing. I called the following week to check the status and was told that I would need to create an account (on their website) that would provide a dashboard for me to check the determined value as well as any activity for the resale of my table. There was nothing on the dashboard except a picture of my beautiful table. I called last Friday, 12/17/2021 to see what was happening and was told by representative, ******* that my table had been donated. I couldn't believe it. I told him that I did not donate the table and it was for consignment only. I was livid and he advised that he would look into the matter and get back to me. I have since talked to two more representatives and a guy named ***** He continued to tell me that my table was donated and this was company policy. He also stated that he had emails that were sent to me stating that it was for donation. I reiterated that my table was never a donation and that I want my table back and/or be compensated which when purchased was $1700.00.

    I tried to give Remoov zero stars. Whatever the minimum may beREMOOV IS IT. I paid their team $350 to remove three pieces of furniture. Now for several months Remoov has offered me no new information other than slyly moving my items from For sale to For donation. Im realistic and know they must charge something to pick up the furniture. $350 however, is asinine, and I assure you I am making not a ***** of that back. I called, and the representative told me that essentially they had been trying to sell my used furniture at a price point nobody will buy it at. Can I be credited ANY amount for the huge pickup fee which is just money out of my familys mouths? No they said. Can I price the items myself so I can get them sold? No they said. Their best assistance was a noncommittal Ill let my boss know and that this boss (monarch?) would have the final say on whether or not I can price my furniture through their store. Why can I not price the items lower and sell them? Im not trying to rip anyone off, and lying is something I detest. That being said, the amount is not even a concern as NO amount I come up with entitles me to choose the price. I gave them two nightstands with GRANITE countertops and real wood. A Dresser of the same. These items cost me $7000 through ****** prior, but were far too large for the apartment that came next. Be made completely powerless, give things away to those who will abuse the privilege, and end the transaction with a net loss of several hundred dollars and several hundred dollars worth of furnitureWHY? I rather doubt that Remoov is for anyone. The only party that stands to gain is Remoov, and I have learned my ****** and been made the fool. If you wish to sell I urge you to use anything other than Remoov. Perhaps **** or OfferUp. I have been scammed on these, but NEVER this unashamedly. If you want to donate, find Goodwill. If you want your money and items in a hostage situation, contact Remoov, but youd have to be a m********

    Hi ******, Thanks for your feedback. Our platform uses a combination of appraisers and an algorithm to set the resale price of the items. We look at what similar items are selling for and set that price. During the consignment period the price of the item is reduced and at the end we lower it even further to liquidate the item. Our goal is to get fair market value for the items. We do take customers input into consideration, please send us an email and I will look into overriding the prices that our system put together and lower the price of your items. I can see that two of our three items have not ended their consignment period yet and they are still up for sale and the price is being dropped weekly. I will go ahead and override the current price and lower it further. When we collect items we first try to resell them and when we do you receive a portion of the sale. If we are unable to sell them then you can pick them up or we can donate them on your behalf.Please give us a call if you have any other questions or if we can help. Thank you
