January 26, **** These people keep calling me repeatedly for somebody that is not at this number. I asked them to remove me from their list. I am not the person I looked are looking for and they continue to threaten me with court and lawsuits and jail time and Im not even the person that theyre looking for it. They refuse to stop calling me. Its 5 or more times a day.Initial Complaint

A letter from this office was received demanding payment for a vehicle that was soldand towed from the new owner. The business information provided on their letter does not match their online information. The address does not have a business located under that law firm's name, their phone number and email address are different as well. It looks like they are trying to scam people.Initial Complaint

We received a letter/notice on 06/09/2020, from Law Offices of ************ Wasserman representing AAA ************** for our car which was towed away on 11/09/2017. We contacted the Southside ************** who towed our car, very next day after towing, to get our car back, but they didnt give us our car back without any of the owners license or any of our family/friends license & told us if we don't collect our car within 30 days, they will sell/dispose it. They did not mention about any payment which we have to do if we dont collect the car. Later on, they never contacted ******* never received any letter/notice or call for any payment till June2020 & suddenly after 2 & half years, for the first time we received the notice for the payment of towing, ****************** of $2704.16. They were saying that they have sent payment notices multiple times, but we never received even a single notice. I have proof also that they didn't send because I had set up **** Informed Delivery by which everyday I am receiving email which posts I am going to receive. ************ Wasserman & AAA ************** don't have the proper website, they asked us to pay over phone or via moneygram only to the attorney which we didnt feel safe ************** dont have any other options. That seemed like scam to us as towing company is not working anymore, *********************** from **** Wasserman office threatened us that if we don't pay the amount right now, our interest will be increased day by day, at any point of time, officers can come to arrest us at our ********** credit will be impacted & almost similar cases I found online reported by other people for these companies. Again, after one & half years, today (01/07/2022) *********************** called ********* the **** in email of $3119.59. She is giving the same threats that it will affect our credit, police will come to arrest us & pay the **** over phone or provide credit card information in their form.Can you please help what should we do?
